I hope everyone is safe at the base. Our troops have a big enough job to do without being attacked in their own (supposedly) safe-zone, and then see their attackers defended by the military brass and the left-wing political establishment.

Gun scare at Sheppard Air Force Base
SNIPPET: “Officials at Sheppard Air Force Base say a man was arrested late Sunday night following reports of an armed man on base.
The public affairs office tells 7News officers located the man, who did have a gun, and took him into custody.”
No it's a technical training center. All Air Force Basic training is at Lackland, in San Antonio. The teach a/c maintenance, including the electronics. Also has a basic flight school, T-6, T-38. Many to most of the student pilots are from NATO countries.
Yeah, there’s a lotta Scots-Irish blood in the South, and lots of Southerners on Free Republic.
I do think there’s some kind of connection to rationality and Scots blood. I once worked on a large project in the south of England, and the Scots were the most no-nonsense, hardest working, problem-solving bunch on the crew (besides us Yanks, of course!).
