Leo, if that is your real name..., do you wanna get some fishin in while it is still legal?
It’s about control, nothing but control. It’s only a matter of time before they issue internal passports like in the old USSR. Live in New York City? You will have to get permission from central authorities to visit New Jersey.
Bummer could cheer on their genocide and they’d still give him a 95% vote.
Don’t worry. If you’re in a union, you will still be allowed to fish.
If that’s true, it’ll become very unhealthy to be a lazy-assed union flunky.
Can’t keep anything except Lake Trout anyway. Still its a really visual hoot to fish around the Firehole. Have some really nice pics of my 14 yo Son fishing there about 14 years ago.
You guys have some real fishing up your way, even outside the Park. “Almost” lucked into a pack in fishing trip on the Gibbon or one of the rivers between Bozeman and Jeyystone. The guide used llamas to pack in.
What the government does not allow is VERBOTEN!
Fishermen Unite!
Really? I'd say 95% of the guides and fishermen here in Ga are conservatives. That's surprising to me.
In Oregon NMFS already has screwed over the coastal charter business. All we need is more GD federal MFs sticking their noses where they don't belong.
Mickey, my buddy got a Smith ticket for late May. This will be my 4th trip. I guide mainly on the Yellowstone and Big Horn, but do a few trips on the Madison and in YNP.
Are you coming to Montana this summer?
Also, I was very surprised at the high number of libs in the fly fishing business here. Heck, there are even lots of hunting guides that are liberal??? A lib hunting guide who supports anti gun wacko pols? Makes my head spin?
I fished the West Yellowstone area several years ago and had a great time. I will be back soon.
I’ve fished the Smith River, as well as the Madison and Firehole. Back then we could keep cutts. I guess now it’s only Lake Trout and you have to keep them...?
Mrs. panax and I will be in your area, mtdrake, (YNP) this coming July for a family reunion in SE Idaho and I will fish the Madison once again. From there we’ll be visiting her brother in Polson for more fishing.
It’s a long drive from NY, but I can’t wait!
Spent a bit too much time in canneries putting myself through college. Once you've seen 1,000,000 or so dead fish, they all begin to look alike...
