The Left's behavior towards Palin is not politics as usual. By their laser-focus on her body and her sexuality, leftists are defiling her.
They are wilding her. And they do this with the full knowledge and complicity of the White House.
The Left has declared war on Palin because she threatens their existence. Liberals need women dependent and scared so that women, like blacks, will vote Democrat.

I always enjoy reading Robin’s columns as she is a recovering liberal who lives/works (as a psychotherapist) in Berkley and has a great insight into the insane/evil minds of liberals.
By sitting idly while the left savages her, we men are silently losing a large part of our heritage and manhood. I never understood why the attacks on her got such a visceral and savage overreaction from me until now. I am trying to protect her the same way that I would protect my wife or my mother.
And I am happy and proud to continue to do that.
This has been going on for years. The Left can't stand anyone with any moral values.
I have seen it over the years, going back to Anita Bryant and orange juice commercials. Circa 60's.
This author pulls no punches at all -- just downright savages the Left for their frankly, y'know, pornographic and dehumanizing attacks on Sarah Palin. Really, really strong writing by this lady.

One of the best prospects of Sarah Palin as president will be the media enduring Palin's midwinter visits back to her home state of Alaska. They'll be pining for Crawford in no time. My husband reasons that since Palin is a wife and mother, since she's a conservative, since she's a Christian, since she's a woman, since she's articulate and empathetic, and since she let her hair grow long, she will be the next President.
Although I think he may be underestimating the power of ridicule via SNL, I wouldn't be too unhappy if he were right.
Sarah, my husband thinks you have a lock on being the next Margaret Thatcher, but he says you should lose the glasses.

That is exactly right. She committed the unpardonable sin of knowingly giving birth to an "imperfect" human being, thereby disregarding Margaret Sanger and the rest of the eugenic nazis who still populate this earth.
This is why I said that the left hates Sarah Palin not for what she says or how she appears on television but for who she is. The left must react as evil always reacts in the presence of good. Like the second mate, they must persecute Sarah Palin and they do not even know why.
Having once fancied myself as a "liberal" (in my brain-dead college days) I know exactly what liberals think of her. In this day of equivocation and licentiousness, they despise her for telling someone their actions are immoral.
But Sarah Palin ought to know why if she is going to be able to cope with a brick bats that will come her way. She must know that she can never charm these people. The more she tries the more they will hate her. She must focus on her target, the conservative base which she will keep so long as she is faithful and the independent middle which is persuadable if she can appear to be a normal and a wholesome person.
I agree. May Tina Fey's hair fall out a few months before the election (and then grow back in afterwards.)
A strong, self-sufficient woman, Palin eschews liberal protection. Drop her off in the Alaskan bush and she'll survive just fine, thank you very much. Palin doesn't need or want anything from liberals — not hate crimes legislation that coddles her, and not abortion, which she abhors.
