PHOENIX (AP) John McCain and Sarah Palin are scheduled to campaign together in Arizona next week for the first time since they conceded the presidential election in Phoenix in 2008.
Palin and McCain will be at a rally and picnic in Tucson on March 26, followed the next day by a rally in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa.

Losers
No - this is just political loyalty and payback.
Gotta be kidding me, I can’t believe Sarah is giving this loser the time of day after the way Johnbo and his staff have so blatantly sold her out publicly. Running with RINOs is not the way to do things, Sarah.
It IS troubling.
IIRC, when she backed Hoffman in New York over the liberal Republican candidate, she stated very clearly that she would back the conservative candidate every time.
Her stumping for McCain is just wrong. It does not make her look like the strong conservative she claims to be.
GRRRRRR ....!
Harder to support you, Sarah.
I hope that a stronger consevative who is more popular beats her in the primary. Who? Not McRomney. McDonnell supports McCain too. So who?
About 3 weeks ago, Rush said on his show Folks, dont mistake Palin for a Tea Partier...Palin is a Republican
Yep. And Reagan was also a republican. I don’t know how many RINOs he campaigned for, although he made “Read My Lips / Voodoo Economics” his running mate.
“Oh boy...I just cant wait to hear all the wonderful things Palin has to say about McCain.”
I’m queazy now.
“I dont know how many RINOs he campaigned for, although he made Read My Lips / Voodoo Economics his running mate.”
But WE voted GHWB into the Presidentcy, not Reagan. As VP, he did what he was told.
You cannot support the reprehensible and walk away untainted.
Yep, this is political payback to McCain. If McCain loses the primary the government run media will come up with the exact wrong conclusion and say that Sarah doesn’t have the political clout that people think.
You have said nothing in argument. Just puerile name calling. Must suck to be you ;-)
That said, I understand she owes him for introducing her to America and these very small rallys are simply token paybacks she felt obligated to perform.
Even JD has stated he understands her obligation.
Go JD - send Mr. RINO packing!
Sarah will be free at last!
Send the message on PALIN’s website
But yes, I will place make an appropriate comment on her site. Enough to express disappointment but not rude.
Cheers.
I’m just trying to sort out if Palin supporting McCain is as bad as Reagan making “voodoo economics” his running mate.
As for “Read My Lips” getting Bush Senior elected, that was a conservative camaign, unlike the RINO campaign of 08.
I’m sorry if I’m coming off strident, FRiend. I’m irritated when I read about my favorite candidate palling around with Juan McCain.
“Im just trying to sort out if Palin supporting McCain is as bad as Reagan making voodoo economics his running mate.”
The times are FAR different as well.
The GOP/RNC hierarchy has been taken over by country club RINOS
The Democrat Party has been completely taken over by the hard left.
Obama is an enemy of the United States.
McCain is (since 2000) an enemy of all things conservative, and is pro-amnesty. He will try to help Obama pass it.
I understand. No hard feelings from this end ;-)
Mcain/Palin in 2012?
That’s my concern.....How much of this is payback as folks have posted.....And how much is she aligned with his true political beliefs......She’s a smart lady and has to be aware of everything covered in post #10......If not she needs to be more informed of who she is stumping for and stop supporting the kind of republican that she so famously fought against in Alaska......
Tancredo endorsed Romney
DeMint endorsed Romney
Pawlenty endorsed McCain
Thompson endorsed McCain
Newt endorsed Scozzafava
Santorum endorsed Specter
Rubio endorsed Huckabee
Santorum endorsed Romney
Scott Brown endorsed Rommey
Ann Coulter endorsed Romney
Mark Levin endorsed Romney
Dick Cheney endorsed McCain
Thune endorsed McCain
Jindahl endorsed McCain
Huckabee endorsed McCain
Way to look reasonable and ready to lead! The guy we picked for President two years ago now isn't even good enough to be a Senator!
You bet’cha! /s
I just love the ever-productive and brilliant “If Palin’s not the ‘12 GOP nominee, I’m taking my ball and going home” crowd.
Governor Mitch Daniels (R-IN) in ‘12!
McCain is as bad as Obama. Palin campaigning for him sickens me. Traitors? You Betcha!
Nah, she'll surprise you. You'll end up voting for her some day :^)
I agree McCain is as bad as Obama. He is even more fanatical about amnesty than Obama - and even though LaRaza supported Obama. Palinâs actions indicate she is not concerned with what is best for this country.
That was devastating
Have a great day.
You are a liar, at least regarding many of your posts concerning me. It's not name-calling when it is the truth.
Sigh.
To the Romney supporters who are beating this poor dead horse with 962 - approximately - posts about Palin campaigning for McCain, YOUR GUY ENDORSED HIM, TOO.
To the Paul supporters who are beating this poor dead horse with 958 - approximately - posts about Palin campaigning for McCain, YOUR GUY WILL NEVER WIN THE PRESIDENCY.
To the purists, enjoy life in your closed compound.
I do not think Heyworth is who you think he is.
I do not think Scott Brown is who you think he is.
But again, enjoy life in your closed utopian compound.
McCain is worse than Obama! With Obama, we are seeing the people get off their duffs and OPPOSE - with McCain, we would see the people be quelled into silence, and a continuation of the same old/same old.
I'm not giving Palin a pass on this - she owe's McCain nothing - and even if she did - to put her personal indebtedness over the needs of this nation - puts her on my same old/same old list. She's not the "rogue" I thought she was.
“Palin supporting a Rino over a true conservative is very troubling for me!”
Ditto that.
Sarah really needs to scrape McCain from the bottom of her high heels immediately if not sooner.
Now, you're getting it. Retire that POS. In fact, run him out of town on a rail.
Reagan should be Palin’s mentor and I thought he was until she turned into just another politician who obviously thinks we can overlook her supporting a RINO! Never have I been so disappointed {even by Gingrich!} If she could clearly state her conservative values as a split from Mclame at just the key moment in Arizona, it might help restore her credibility...Perhaps I am fantasizing...
Sarah must know HOW those of us who were FANATICALLY on her side, feel about the AZ Weasel!... She insists in supporting him, and she will pay the price.
If you sleep with dogs, you will eventually smell like one.
2+2=4 simple.
Her actions (don't buy the 'loyalty' argument) don't ADD UP.
She can NOT the be person I thought she was, if she is supporting ACTIVELY (there is difference) the SH***EST politician for many of her supporters. Something STINKS here...

I think I’ll show up with my JD signs.
Excellent...love it :)
You know... I would NOT mind someone Boooooing her for supporting this weasel... We MUST send her a message that she is crossing the line.
Good points.
Cringe....
Maybe we should look to Michelle Bachmann instead.
You wouldn’t be female would you? It seems so from your posts.
In any event, Sarah has pretty much had ample opportunity to take McLame to task for his RINO-ness and general half-assing the conservative cause, and she hasn’t. No need for name calling or shouting at all..we all know Sarah is not meant for the Presidency. We need a true conservative who doesn’t stand next to RINOS and mimic their behavior.
“To repudiate Palin two years after for supporting McCain’s Senatorial campaign doesn’t speak well of the loyalty, cohesiveness and strength of the Republican brand.”
What does McCain’s history of disloyalty, weakness and stabs-in-the-back say about the “Republican Brand”?
McCain is a traitor to his party and, frankly, his country.
As I said, much of the blame for this lies with McCain, who seems to keep his powder dry for “friendly fire”, and is halfhearted at best when taking on the left. But in for a farthing in for a pound. He WAS the Republican nominee just TWO YEARS AGO. Admittedly most of us here on FR HATED that fact, but 47% of the votes went to the man.
So what do you think of Sen. Brown? A pro-choice RINO? Shouldn't have run? Shouldn't have gotten any support from Republicans or conservatives? Why?
“Well then go ahead and repudiate the votes of 47% of the American public.”
A large percentage voted for Obama too.
“As I said, much of the blame for this lies with McCain, who seems to keep his powder dry for friendly fire, and is halfhearted at best when taking on the left.”
What do you mean “half-hearted?” He IS on the left!
“Admittedly most of us here on FR HATED that fact, but 47% of the votes went to the man.”
The went to McCain not for McCain, but they felt he was the only alternative.
“So what do you think of Sen. Brown? A pro-choice RINO? Shouldn’t have run? Shouldn’t have gotten any support from Republicans or conservatives? Why?”
Nationally, no. In MA? I suppose.
Now how does Arizona look? How is JD running against John? If JD wins the nomination, how strong does he look against a Dem candidate?
Driving out McCain will be a bittersweet victory at best if we end up with a Dem in that seat.
“Of course Brown should have run and won in MA.”
I would never have voted for the man, but I live in a more sane state.
“Brown’s victory in MA was a huge victory for the Republicans and a huge defeat for 0bama. And yet Brown is a poster-child RINO.”
It overturned Kennedy hegemony, but if he votes like a RINO, it’ll make little difference in the end.
“Now how does Arizona look? How is JD running against John? If JD wins the nomination, how strong does he look against a Dem candidate?”
I’m not in Arizona, but McCain is scum.
“Driving out McCain will be a bittersweet victory at best if we end up with a Dem in that seat.”
To quote Patton, better two German divisions ahead of me than a French one behind me.
McCain is a Dem.
“McCain is a Dem.”
The worst kind of Dem. One too dishonest to openly join the Dem party.
