It was the “evil” marijuana and on top of this it has

The episode you may be referring to is from the second season of the 1960s ‘Dragnet.’ It’s called ‘The Big High’ and features a young couple that routinely gets high on marijuana, but at the end their baby daughter drowns in a tub because they were too high to appreciate what was going on.

The LSD episode everyone remembers is the first regular episode of the first season.

In ‘The Big High’s’ epilogue, the mother of the child isn’t sent to prison, but rather is sent to a mental hospital.

It has never made me lazy. Maybe because I began carpentry with a crew that smoked it from the beginning of the day. It's hard to be lazy when you have to walk 2x4 walls two stories up and your pay is a percentage not an hourly wage. It got me in the habit of smoking if I wanted to get a hard job done fast like pulling an engine on a Sat morning.

FWIW I don't smoke much these days I just cut and pasted a stupid comment.
