The pretending has got to stop. I've HAD IT with every single Liberal/Democrat in my life. I don't care if you're an Aunt, Cousin, neighbor or a life-long friend. I don't care that we go to the same church, coach my son's basketball or if we have kids that hang out together.
There's no longer room in my life for you or anyone who would associate themselves with those who are purposefully dismantling the country my children will have to live in.
I'm ready to post to Facebook that what's going on in our Government in broad daylight should bring nothing but SHAME and DISGUST to anyone with a lick of sense. And if you voted for Øbama or any of the Congressional crotch-fruit who is breaching the oath they took to uphold the U.S. Constitution, you can go straight to HELL! Un-friend me now.
To overtly disenfranchise the 2/3rds of us who can see the corrupt action this week as the Coup d'état that is is unconscionable. Not to mention the rest of the SOCIALIST ECONOMIC BULLSHIT they've shoved down our throats this past year.

I hear you, I haven’t seen my sister in almost 10 years and she only lives about 40 miles from me. If I never see her again, that’s ok by me. She’s a big-time (PETA and other nut root ideas) lib. She was actually born in Berkley, California and I think they DID something to her right after she was born. Maybe she’s a changeling, lol.

Last fall a friend of many years and I had a discussion (civil, or so I thought) over global warming. This guy used to be active in the Montana Libertarian Party, then he married a public school (made up)history teacher. Since then he has returned only 1 phone call.
Now, here we are. Our constitution is about to be flushed down the toilet and we will be facing one of two likely futures: To live under a tyrannical government or STAND UP AND FIGHT. I am very close to considering ANY liberal a direct and real threat to my and future generation's freedom. In short, an enemy.

I definitely feel your pain and have thought of doing much the same as what you are intending to do. I’ve got old friends from school that are of the liberal persuasion. One got into an argument with a conservative friend of mine on Facebook over a Mark Steyn article I posted. It forever changed my feelings toward her. I knew she was an idealistic pie in the sky type, but I didn’t know she was so very, very selfish. I haven’t disowned any yet, but I so understand what you are going to do.

Amen...purge ALL liberals from your life; regardless of who they are; do not share the table with them at Thanksgiving; ignore them at Christmas and on birthdays and anniversaries. They have enabled the destruction of our country, and should be shunned at every opportunity.

I understand your frustration... but there is a cutting edge there where people who are followers of Christ must still LOVE the sinner (socialism/communism/marxism is a sin).

I’ve actually been feeling a lot like this for some time now. Fortunately the vast majority of my family and friends don’t fall into the liberal category, but but there are two or three. I’m sometimes disturbed with how un-Christian-like my feelings toward them can be at times.
I say stick to your beliefs and let them do the shunning. Vocally and cheerfully defend what is right. If they don’t like it, they can shun YOU.
Let us leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren to be proud of!
