We are going 'unelect' them in November. Can't wait!

Good luck with that...so far very few new conservatives are stepping up to the plate and when they do, they are nitpicked to death by purists and/or smearmongers with an agenda, sometimes over matters that have absolutely nothing to do with the job they are applying for. Besides, by November, it may be too late to stop this runaway train.

No doubt that applies to the Census as well.

For 10 months I’ve waited for someone to ask HOW MANY TOTAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WILL THIS ADD? I spent more than a week calling all over Washington. I even talked to a woman in CBO who works on the scoring...she admitted they hadn’t calculated that. And the cost was not included in the CBO estimate.

My best guess would be 200,000 total new bureaucrats.

They want to control their people and their money. That's one reason why democrats hate guns and gold, because they both undermine their ability to tax the people. They can't keep track of the money invested outside of the government controlled markets and, because of that, they can't tax any capital gains you might have earned when you sold your kruggerands or your collection of AR15s. As they continue to eff this economy up with their socialist policies, this attitude will worsen. During the depression, for example, FDR had revenuers posted in the banks who would look over your shoulder when you accessed your safety deposit box. They were looking for gold and, if you had it, they took it.

Finally, as Pelosi said, this is just the beginning.

They want to control their people and their money.

Soon they'll just confiscate all the savings and then they won't have to worry about "controlling" it anymore.

“The time is now near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their houses and farms are to be pillaged and destroyed, and themselves consigned to a state of wretchedness from which no human efforts will deliver them. The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of this army. Our cruel and unrelenting enemy leaves us only the choice of brave resistance, or the most abject submission.” – George Washington, Address to the Continental Army before the Battle of Long Island (27 August 1776)

Buy a safe.

And just leave a few dollars in it, hide your cash elsewhere.

keep the minimal amount in your bank for bills or better yet only deposit enough to pay online bills immediately.

Forget about the safety and security banks and saving institutions are offering, if the IRS wants it share it WILL take it from you.

Give them no quarter literally, starve the beast.

I drove through Fredericksburg, VA a couple of weeks ago and traffic was backed up for miles—all the way on to I-95 for a special event.

People were dressed to the nines at UMW’s graduate campus. I thought it was a graduation ceremony or some sort of concert.

Turns out the “special event” was a Federal Jobs Fair.

Maybe ACORN’s financial advice was sound—bury your money in a tin in the back yard.

Thats the weakness of America, everyone believes that a Federal Job is the step to a better fortune, a job for life, easy money.

Yes it is...for now.

Millions will get that Federal job but will it last?

When there is a breakdown of the Government those jobs will end quicker than they were created.

What if you don’t have a bank account and pay cash for everything? Will there be an Individual Mandate that we must have a bank account?

Its quite possible that hidden in the HCR bill is requirements that all businesses pay out to the employees electronically and thus the “tax” is automatically withdrawn.

I did not say it IS fact, I would step out on a limb and say its PROBABLE, because they would have to do it in that fashion to collect.

Who can blame people for thinking that way? History’s shown that those jobs are permanent and in an economy where the private sector is under assault by the Federal Government a lot of people are looking for security for themselves and family.

I felt like I was looking at thousands of Joads in search of some kind of promised land. Part of me felt sorry for them, knowing how many people have been displaced in this recession and are desperate for work, and another part was angry at the growth of the Fed Gov and the sheer number of additional “leeches” hoping to feed off what’s left of the producers.

Well, I’m losing my job in two weeks, and since nobody hires a 53 year old white male, I’ll be going Galt.
