They’ll track OUR paltry bank accounts, but they won’t track the BILLIONS that they doled out to the banks. No oversight for them at all.
No excrement, Mr. Holmes.

The IRS Is Looking For 60 12-Gauge Pump Action Guns To Arm Its Investigators

Working for the IRS doesn’t sound so wimpy anymore.
The IRS apparently has plans to buy 60 Remington Model 870 police 12 gauge pump action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Unit.
According to the federal business government website, these guns are serious.
The Remington parkerized shotguns come fully loaded with:
* A fourteen inch barrel
* Modified choke
* Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight
* XS4 Contour Bead front sight
* Knoxx Reduced Recoil Adjustable Stock
* Speedfeed ribbed black forend
We’re not sure what kind of IRS duty requires this kind of combat artillery, but it sounds badass.
And oddly, these are the only guns the IRS is allowed to use, “based on compatibility with IRS existing shotgun inventory.”

New tax mandates and penalties included in Obamacare will cause the greatest expansion of the Internal Revenue Service since World War II, according to a release from Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas.
A new analysis by the Joint Economic Committee and the House Ways & Means Committee minority staff estimates up to 16,500 new IRS personnel will be needed to collect, examine and audit new tax information mandated on families and small businesses in the reconciliation bill being taken up by the U.S. House of Representatives this weekend. ...
Scores of new federal mandates and fifteen different tax increases totaling $400 billion are imposed under the Democratic House bill. In addition to more complicated tax returns, families and small businesses will be forced to reveal further tax information to the IRS, provide proof of government approved health care and submit detailed sales information to comply with new excise taxes.
Americans for Tax Reform has a good breakdown of the bill by the numbers. (below)
Isn’t it reassuring that at a time of recession, government will do what’s necessary to ensure its growth?

I expect they would like resistant citizens to begin finding out in short order.

Even Jethro Bodine could balance accounts with one of these bad boys!
Yep .... we’re gonna have IRS Swat Teams.
I’m gonna say barter is going to become
very fashionable.
Sounds like they’ll need to buy a lot more shotguns........
Disinformation. They don’t need 16,000 new IRS agents to see if you’re paying on a monthly or quarterly basis for healthcare. In a heartbeat, they can decide — if they haven’t already — that “qualified” healthcare suppliers must send you a new IRS-mandated form at the end of the year, like banks do for interest and mortgage companies do for your house payments.
No, the 16,000 new agents are to deal with the increasing underground economy. Note the new recent requirement that came out of the blue about a month ago that PayPal et al keep track of your income and send you a new IRS-mandated form at the end of the year.
No, about 150,000,000 million of that total are definitely not "us".
They vote for these marxists animals and that problem isn't going to be solved at the ballot box.
Good point. My math error. So... that leaves 150,000,000 of us Second Amendment supporters vs 16,000 IRS accountants wielding shotguns...
This is right out of the Progressive play book. Remember prohibition enforcement wasn't led by by the FBI or law enforcement, it was under the treasury department.
The next shoe to drop will be regulation of everything they deem a health risk, since now "the collective" is responsible for your health. We're already seeing new beverage taxes aimed at curbing "childhood obesity". Is it a coincidence that (jokes aside) the White House is taking a keen interest in the obesity epidemic among children? In NYC statists like Bloomburg are regulating the salt content in foods restaurants serve. This will only get worse.
It's Mourning in Amerika.
Do you really think they can't change the rules regarding Roths? There are proposals in congress aimed at regulating retirement accounts and dictating what you can invest in with a 401K. All this new debt needs to be bought by someone and the Chinese won't be supporting this forever. Dark days ahead.
If you noticed near the end, just before the vote, the message to Dems was, They'll blame you anyway and vote you out so you might as well support this if you want any kind of career in public service.
Ahem, I think that's called withholding and FICA. They can pretty much do that now.
I meant to a further and EVEN more irresponsible level.
