Sorry to interrupt but a friend of mine from D.C. just called and they are staying through the night and she told me that they were unaware that this bill is done. No one from the Repubs has been out for a couple of hours and they are still hard at it. She said that the Union is cornered (at this time) but tensions are high.

I’ve seen enough. There’s no point in my following the current debacle on a minute-by-minute basis. I appreciate those of you who do, but I need to rest and plan for the next round. I believe that we’ll have elections in November, and we need to defeat the Democrats soundly. We eventually had welfare reform. We didn’t get everything we wanted, but we made some progress. If we push hard enough, we can overturn this nonsense. When vets returned from Vietnam, some people spit on them. No matter what people think about the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan, no one would consider doing the same to a returning vet today. That’s another example of our nation having a complete change because people realized how wrong certain attitudes and actions were. I hope that someday we can turn the tide so that people will see support for the SOBama takeover bill in the same light that they saw mistreatment of returning veterans, prohibition, and other similar disasters in our nation’s history.

My friend just called again and said Steve King just came out and announced that they DO NOT have the votes and this has not been voted on.
He indicated that the vote is scheduled to take place in about an hour and promised the crowd that he would come out and be with them either way. Win or Lose and if we lose, he will be discussing strategy with them and what they plan to do. He said that an immediate lawsuit will be filed. Further he said that IF we win, the Marxists CANNOT override it with an EO

The National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) remains strongly opposed to the Senate-passed health bill (H.R. 3590). A lawmaker who votes for this bill is voting to require federal agencies to subsidize and administer health plans that will pay for elective abortion, and voting to undermine longstanding pro-life policies in other ways as well. Pro-life citizens nationwide know that this is a pro-abortion bill. Pro-life citizens know, and they will be reminded again and again, which lawmakers deserve their gratitude for voting against this pro-abortion legislation.
The executive order promised by President Obama was issued for political effect. It changes nothing. It does not correct any of the serious pro-abortion provisions in the bill. The president cannot amend a bill by issuing an order, and the federal courts will enforce what the law says.

Regarding the new program to provide tax credits to purchase private insurance, the executive order merely tinkers with the formalities of a bookkeeping scheme under which federal subsidies will pay for plans that cover elective abortion — a break from the longstanding principles of the Hyde Amendment.
The order does nothing at all to mitigate the other abortion-related problems described in the NRLC letter, dealing with bill provisions that create dangerous regulatory mandate authorities, revise Indian health programs, and create pools of directly appropriated funds that are not covered by existing restrictions on funding of abortion. Nor can the order correct the omission from the pending legislation of the necessary conscience-protection language that had been included in House-passed health care legislation last November (the “Weldon language”).

There are laws of economics just like laws of gravity. This country has enjoyed letting the free market work its prosperous wonders, working with, not against economic principles. These Socialists idiots want to repeat the same stupidity that’s been made over and over throughout modern history, going down the poverty-stricken road of Marxism and big-government central planning, blissfully ignoring and defying economic law and natural law to everyone’s ruin.

who should either cooperate with the investigation of his actual birth and/or be removed.
Here’s the plan:
STEP 1: All Americans for a government that abides by the Constitution change their local laws to allow the keeping of chickens by any taxpaying American.
STEP 2: Once taxpayers are allowed to keep chickens, we amend the law to allow all taxpayers to keep hogs. (After all, we wouldn’t want to discriminate now, would we?)
STEP 3: Hogs proliferate from sea to shining sea.
STEP 4: Government workers begin to disappear.
STEP 5: Missing government workers are replaced with new government workers.
STEP 6: The new government workers disappear too.
STEP 7: In short order, no one wants to be a government worker.
STEP 8: With a shrinking pool of government workers, fewer laws interfering with private enterprise are enacted.
STEP 9: Smaller government at all levels - federal, state, city, and local - result in HUGE SAVINGS being realized with the tax dollars returned to the taxpayers.
STEP 10: After eating off the FAT OF THE LAND, the tens of millions of hogs are sold to the Chinese for hefty profit, thereby paying off the debt caused by said government workers. America is now debt free.
Proof yet again that everything you need to know to fix America can be found by watching DEADWOOD.
P.S. Did I forget to mention that because of the methane produced by the hogs, America also becomes energy independent resulting in the total collapse of the Middle Eastern countries that produce oil? That, too!

I’ve been traveling all day and just finding out what’s happening. Did any Repub vote FOR this abomination or did we at least close our ranks? Do the DemonRATS own this completely?
This is the moment that will determine within each of us success or failure for our freedoms. This is the kind of time that people face when they must decide to choose to quit and turn back or do I press on? It was not an easy thing to form a free nation. We are seeing and tasting that it is not easy to preserve a free nation either.
If they win this vote tonight, they will think they have achieved the final victory. But it does not stop there. Their victory is not guaranteed by this vote, or any other. It is only guaranteed if they can convince us the battle if lost and that the battle is over.
