On Thursday evening my husband and I made the decision to drive to Washington D.C. to be part of the "Kill the Bill" protest on the Capitol lawn.
We had been a part of the 9-12 DC Tea Party, having been part of the Tea Party movement since it's beginning, and have a vested interest in making sure this monstrosity doesn't pass (it is pending as I type this).
We drove to DC Friday evening and drove back Saturday, not able to stay for the entire event because of church responsibilities Sunday morning, but we were thrilled to be a part of this huge gathering of American citizens, and I hope these photos give a feel for what we were about, and how powerful a voice "We the People" have.
As the protest developed and our loud voice was heard, we were told by Michelle Bachmann and others in Congress that our being there indeed was having an effect on what was going on inside the Capitol building in front of us. (The Slaughter of the Constitution went down while we were there).
We broke up to go into the Congressional office buildings and "visited" the wavering Congressmen (we spent most of our time at John Boccieri's office).
If the bill passes, you can be assured that our fight is not over. We must win this battle, and if they succeed in passing this destructive, unconstitutional bill, we will fight to have it overturned.

The pictures just get better and better!!! WOW!! Send them to Fox News and ask then why they are not featuring the amazing tea party revolt that took place Saturday with only a few days notice.....IMAGINE if we had had two weeks notice!!!!!
They said there were 800 people there from California!
Can you imagine if we had known about it before Thursday what the crowd would be like??

Those signs should be complied into a book...and SENT DIRECTLY to the RNC leadership. For withing the writing and pictures on those thousands of signs were the stones of a true conservative foundation.

Thank you for driving all the way from Ohio to represent all of us who couldn’t be there. A conglomeration of thugs has taken over our beloved country. If I wanted to live in Communist China I would have moved there. These photos deserve a ping to all the Snowflakes!
