When I asked John McCain what he would say to his old friend Ted Kennedy this morning, he smiled and said "Congratulations."
But he had nothing good to say about the legislation that passed the House late last night.
Calling it "a massive government takeover of the health care system," he promised the GOP would fight it on all fronts: challenging the reconciliation "fix" bill in the Senate, moving more broadly to repeal the bill later this year, questioning its Constitutionality in the courts and, of course, hoping to reap electoral gains come November.
McCain = friend of Mitt, Palin, Jeb, Graham-nesty, Huckerbie, Fred and other RINO losers.
McCain Feingold gave us 2006/2008 Dem Congress and 2008 Obama.
Hayworth needs to point that out.

I have stood up for this man in the past and understand that he is trying to be collegial, but this assault on our liberty is one of the few times I think it’s time to just toss that out completely.
It’s time to get mad. McCain is like that wimp in Dodgeball that has to be kicked in the private to be able to accomplish anything.
Now, I AM GLAD he is saying the GOP will do all it can to fight, but he shouldn’t have replied at all about he Kennedy thing. Instead, he had to be collegial.
You know what, screw that.
This is war. At times yesterday I wanted the Tea Partiers to storm the capitol. I really doubt there would be enough police to stop them.

I was thinking the same thing. Unfortunately, it didn't happen...yet. If folks really understood what just happened I don't think they'd be sitting on their asses.
I'm just hoping the American people have fight left in them.
I pray McCain rots in hell. He is pro abortion as his butt kissing pal Kennedy. Both deserve special hot seats in hell.

The left has always acted as though it were a war and the Republicans see it as a gentlemanly game. Just like a game of tennis or golf at the club. No need to take it too seriously and when it’s all over have a few drinks and some laughs with your opponents. You are right this is war.
I’m usually pretty tame and have an attitude that you know what, you win and lose some.
But, this is a terrible bill.

Agreed. I was partially kidding, as it seems a contingent on our side has now taken to fully blaming Bush for the narrow defeat by SocialismCare.

I’d say we’re more or less fully engaged now. Now they get to see what we’re like when we defend our families, kids, grandkids and this nation from enemies both foreign and domestic.
