Victims of the 'he-cession' are turning against the Democrats, and that could sway the November elections.
Millions of white men who voted for Barack Obama are walking away from the Democratic Party, and it appears increasingly likely that they'll take the election in November with them. Their departure could well lead to a GOP landslide on a scale not seen since 1994.
For more than three decades before the 2008 election, no Democratic president had won a majority of the electorate. In part, that was because of low support -- never more than 38% -- among white male voters. Things changed with Obama, who not only won a majority of all people voting but also pulled in 41% of white male voters. Suddenly, there were millions more white men voting the Democratic ticket.

Millions of ‘white women’ are pissed off too. Besides, it’s always about race and gender with these liberals. We conservatives focus on principles instead. The word ‘Democrat’ has become a filthy curse for many.

Just saw some asshat lib on FNC say that the electorate is sick and tired of the sort of GOP hyper-partisanship displayed in the health care debate, and will take its anger out on Republicans in November, thus giving the Dems an even larger majority. Steven Hayes just laughed at the buffoon.

Pollsters regularly ask voters whether they would rather see a Democrat or Republican win their district. By February, support for Democrats among white people (male and female) was three points lower than in February 1994, the year of the last Republican landslide.
I am not nearly as confident as you, because of the stupidity of the American people, but I surely hope you are right.
There is such a thing as an honest, conservative Democrat. Zell Miller comes to mind.
But, there ain't many of them. Especially nowadays.
Woman vote with their uterus. If not their’s, their daughter’s or sisters. Don’t want to suffer the consequence of getting knocked up at the wrong time.

Yep. That's the theme of the moment. Expect to hear quite a bit of it for the next couple of years.
The Democrats lost support in 1994 because of the naked agression by the DNC to ram through Hillarycare in 1993.
It is the same backlash this time. It is the SOCIALIST AGENDA, stupid.
I'm going out on a limb here.... Assuming that BO runs in 2012 (not a done deal, but that's a whole other discussion) I'll make a few predictions.
1. He'll still carry a whopping majority of the black vote, but it will be LESS than what he had in '08.
2. There will be less of a black turnout. History has been made, been there done that, they've moved on to other things.
3. The "White Guilt" voters that carried BO in '08 will be mostly gone. There will still be some, to be sure, but they'll be fewer in number.
Figure that a huge percentage of people weren't voting for BO.... they were voting for themselves. "I'm a part of HISTORY; I voted for THE BLACK GUY" or "I'm NOT a bigot like those conservatives, I voted for THE BLACK GUY". and so on. Now the country has been there and done that. It's a card that can only be played once, and Dems played it with BO.
If Republicans manage to run someone marginally competent in 2012, it will be a landslide, IMHO.
The thing that is assumed that you know is that white men are the ones being laid of disproportionately during this recession.
Nevertheless, there were all kinds of special carve-outs for women and minorities in the so-called “jobs bill”.
The republic is dead. Everybody got hooked on the socialism crack.
I think that IS the reason for the divorce rate.
Too many democrat women don’t realize that republican men have no use for psuedo feminist democrat women.
And the Republicans lost during the last decade because of the socialism.
Productive people don’t like socialism and they don’t vote for people who promote it.
How many productive people will escape the country before Obama puts up the great white wall to keep the productive in.
How much money will they take with them?
But hey, this is America. It can’t happen here!
