During the run-up, the claim was made that 40,000 Americans died each year because they did not have health insurance. That’s 109 per day. So, at least 109 Americans have died since President Obama signed the bill into law. How long can this go on?

Shall we start a death counter for those dying as of noon yesterday, under Pelosi-obamacare?

We should start a death counter. People will understand that. Obviously people are to stupid to figure out the true agenda by the Dums.
Maybe they will understand THAT.
Along with the death count, there should also be some estimate of how much tax money has been collected as a result of this legislation, how many new jobs were created as a result of this legislation, how many existing jobs were lost as a result of this legislation, and so on. It will give the poor something to keep track of while they wait for their benefit programs to start.
That’s fine as long as we get the 16,500 IRS snoops tomorrow too....

I heard him say this last night. This is the brilliant Rush I remember from the 1990s. They can’t give the benefits now because they know in practice many voters will rebel against the side effects when we see what it really does. They must wait till Obama is safely re-elected.
The whole 2014 thing is to weed out the Insurance Companies who will be forced to insure everyone regardless of prior illnesses or recent use of all benefits. They figure 2 to 3 years and most Companies will be insolvent.
Viola! Single Payer Plan run by Government will come to the rescue to tell mother’s with disabled babies and old folks (especially conservatives) to die and die quickly! (Rep. Grayson, FL)

The Republicans will never win if they don’t start educating their ‘spokespeople’ on TV. The Democrats have talking points - most of them lies - the uneducated Republican just sits there. They should be able to strike back with the truth.
Example: the Democrats say ObamaCare strengthens Medicare. The truth is, this is a big LIE. The CBO says that would be double-counting:
“To describe the full amount of HI trust fund savings as both improving the government’s ability to pay future Medicare benefits and financing new spending outside of Medicare would essentially double-count a large share of those savings and thus overstate the improvement in the government’s fiscal position.”

We have walk-in clinics where I live. Yesterday an article in our paper about HC let people comment. Someone posted they were in a clinic and saw a man arguing at the front desk about why he had to pay now that HC reform passed. Seriously.

It’s sad when in my part time I can think of more talking points than the pathetic Republicans who are PAID FULL TIME to do just that!
Can’t Obama just get this out of his “stash” and distribute it to us now?
No, let the rats string it out as long as possible before enacting it, because otherwise all the parasite voters will all have their lips locked on the government teat even more firmly and raise a mighty stink if anyone tries to take it away. Just the same as happened with other taxpayer-funded “entitlements”. It will make any efforts to repeal impossible, as this program will have become yet another “untouchable”.
I know they’re not all that stupid or inarticulate, that’s why my cynical side starts to wonder just how much of what we see is grandstanding. If their hearts were in it, they’d put more effort into their responses. I know some of them are sincerely opposing this, but are enough of them really in it to fight?
They have been telling us this is an emergency. That people are dying in the streets and such. Why is Washington dragging its feet while people die?!?!
That means that by delaying the "benefits" for 4 years the democrats are causing the deaths of 160,000 Americans. How can they live with the blood on their hands?!
