And that is the problem with having rookie Chicago thugs trying to be diplomats. It doesn't matter what you intended. It is how an action is perceived that is important. Obama's actions were perceived by the Israelis as being a snub, and so they were a snub.

A top aide of US President Barack Obama told CNN's State of the Union program on Sunday morning that Obama did not snub Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu when the two met in the White House last week. Yeah right. And Netenyahu didn't mean to snub Obama when he announced the new building in east Jerusalem while Biden was there. If I were Netenyahu I'd just ignore Obama for a while and let him flounder with the Palestinians. See where that gets him.
