:’)

2700 pages for the bill — but A) the Constitution is much shorter than this, and B) it takes longer to write than it does to read, and someone must have written all 2700 pages of this SOB.

Good post.

It was an attempt to confuse facts with emotion by an representative who understands neither.

This guy could compete with the Capsizing of Guam representative for stupid YouTube clip of the year.

“I believe that is says that we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”

Not at someone else’s expense, jerk.
Not at the expense of someone else’s right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This is the mindset we’re dealing with, folks.

This will make a good clip in a political ad.

That’s a very important, and troubling, point.

Unfortunatly, he’s not the only one, nor is it only limited to politicians.

Yes. And I carry a copy of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence around with me, just in case I need to look something up! :-)

“It doesn’t matter to me.”

Grounds enough for impeachment or recall

Get rid of this jackass

Would be cool if all the stupid things dems have said or or done just in the past few months were listed in place (like a FR thread)...if there already is one, I would be delighted if someone would point me in that direction.... :0)

What percentage of the American people actually care about the Constitution or whether their congresscritter believes in it? Americans have been taught that government is supposed to help them, give them stuff, take care of them. They don’’t care about no steenkin’ constitution.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency.”

BINGO.

I know it’s dicey, but I’m sick of the sanctimonious commentary about “The American People” on both sides when far too many of Them obviously are not qualified to vote knowledgeably.

It is about time to recognize that The American People is the root cause.

I’m not talking about college professors, who are merely over strangely-educated.

There, fixed it!

Hare is not used to having to debate the stuff he voted for. He got flustered and said exactly what he meant.

You know you’ve gotten used to the perks when as you open the door to your SUV, and your driver is getting in the driver’s side, your man servant waits with his arm out to receive you suit jacket.

Which you are not surpised by and are handing off without thinking about it. You have done this so many times it is akin to tying your shoe laces in the dark. It’s habituated.

I wonder if his man servant wasn’t there, would the suit coat have hit the pavement?
