Rep. Phil Hare Doesn't Care About The Constitution

doesn’t Know The Difference Between The U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence

Rep. Phil Hare (D-Il) displayed an amazing mastery of ignorance regarding the US Constitution. In a YouTube video he plainly and unequivocally stated that he does not care about the US Constitution "on this" referring to the constitutionality of the new Healthcare Reform bill mandating - compelling - US citizens to purchase health insurance.

When asked "where in the Constitution does it give you the authority" to mandate compulsory health insurance, Rep. Hale's response was "I believe that is says that we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"

When reminded that he was actually quoting the Declaration of Independence, Hale retorted "It doesn't matter to me."

When asked if he actually read the 8,100- page bill, he said that he read it three times.

What a prolific reader! He read the 8100-page bill three times?

LET'S DO THE MATH:

(8100) pages X (3) readings = (24,300) pages @ 1 minute per page
(24,300) minutes divided by (60) = (405) hours
(405) hours divided by (24) hours per day = (16.875) days assuming there were no interruptions for such necessities like eating, sleeping, etc.

If we assume that - more reasonably - Rep. Hart devoted only (40) hours per week - ( 8) hours per day - to read this bill, it would have taken him exactly (50.635) days.

How stupid does he think we are?

Would be cool if all the stupid things dems have said or or done just in the past few months were listed in place (like a FR thread)...if there already is one, I would be delighted if someone would point me in that direction.... :0)

What percentage of the American people actually care about the Constitution or whether their congresscritter believes in it? Americans have been taught that government is supposed to help them, give them stuff, take care of them. They don’’t care about no steenkin’ constitution.

they must swear to defend the constitution in order to take their seat in congress, which to them means no more than standing solumnly during the national anthem at a ball game....it is just something to put up with till the ump cries PLAY BALL!!

then they Play Ball, but they cheat.

This tool is the rep from my area of IL. About a week ago he was in the grocery store where I work at the Customer Service counter. I spotted him at the check out lane and I shouted “vote Republican!”

Not sure he heard me but a few people did. I suppose that could have gotten me fired but frankly, I don’t care.

Hare told the man who asked the question what he really thought and got into it so deeply that his only means to exit from the argument was to leave the premises.

"I don't care about the Constitution"? Does he know that he took an oath of office to uphold it?

Notice the typical Dummycrat appeal to emotion rather than to law and reason, including Hare's bringing up someone hypothetical who supposedly took a child to an emergency room and was relieved when the doctor said the kid would be OK, then was stuck for a $10,000 to $12,000 bill.

He also assumes - as do many of his fellow 'Rats - that no insurance equals no access to needed health care, and that having insurance guarantees one access to needed services. Insurance does not necessarily equate to access to the medical services needed, nor does lack of insurance necessarily equate to lack of needed services. This is the common fallacy upon which ObamaCare was constructed. Imagine nitwits like Hare using such a false premise to enact their monstrosity in violation of the Constitution, a Constitution that they don't give a rat's ass about anyway!

Kudos to the guy who confronted Hare and got him to show his true colors on videotape!

I saw this online yesterday and was sure the MSM wouldn't cover it. This morning I was shocked to find it written up on the front page of the shamelessly Obama worshipping Quad City Times, Hare video goes viral. They, of course, never got around to mentioning Hare's party, but did prominently mention and quote his Republican opponent. All their editors must be on "Spring Holiday" vacation. I hope they don't return until too late to edit coverage of Tuesday's Tea Party Express visit.

BTW, this video is now up to 195k views.

All Democrats should be voted out this fall.

Only a tiny fraction of them will be though. “:(

My question to Congressman Hare would be, “But can one enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while struggling on the exposed decks of a capsizing Pacific island. Many will die as the island’s keel momentarily exposes itself when the island slips quietly to the sea bottom. How many corpse-men will be needed to handle all those dead bodies? But to help that capsizing island before it sinks to the bottom, would it be beneficial to make it our 58th state?”

Take a good look at this guy and you will see that he does not care about his own personal constitution. There are mature Elephant Seals who weigh less than this mutt.

And as a taxpayer, we are all paying dearly for his health care!
