Your title reads: “Country,” not “County.”

The title is wrong, it should be county not country.

Thank you.
Admin Moderator, will you please change the title to read COUNTY instead of country?
Thank you, too!

So, I’m wondering if the lowest rate in every state is the county with the state capitol? In Wisconsin it sure looks that way.

I noticed that the county with the lowest unemployment rate in each state tends to be the one in which the state capitol is located. Not always, but a lot of the time. And when the rest of the state is black, the capitol’s county always seems to be dark purple or a shade or two lighter.
Might explain why fixing employment is not high on the government’s list of priorities. They ain’t feeling it.

Another thing this doesn’t account for is a lot of older workers taking early retirement. I know 3 that had planned to work longer but retired early so that others could keep their jobs.
The picture is worse than it appears.

Another fact to keep in mind is that the Dimwits took control of the congress in January 2007.

And UNDER-employment. Skilled workers, used to making good wages, taking ANY job in this environment.
