More seeds of confusion sown on [Mr. Obama's] eligibility

Headline from CBS/New York Times Poll: 'Birther' myth persists among tea partiers, all Americans.

How's that for objectivity?

How's that for fairness?

How's that for balance?

The American people have not made up their mind about Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility for office, but CBS and the New York Times sure have.

If you're not 100 percent convinced, you believe in "myths."

But the headline is hardly the only problem with this first-ever Big Media poll on the issue of Barack Obama's legal qualifications for the presidency.

This is how the question was asked – of both self-described tea partiers and others: Do you think President Obama was born in the U.S. or another country?

I suppose that information may be of some interest to the folks at CBS and the New York Times. But it is hardly the relevant question. The relevant question is whether Obama or anyone else has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he is constitutionally eligible to serve as a "natural born citizen."(continued)

The birth certificate has zero relevance to the Constitutional "natural born citizen" requirement -- UNLESS -- it shows a father other than Barack Obama, Sr.

If his parentage is as he claims, (with a foreign national as his father) Obama is not a natural born citizen, and is ineligible to be President.

IOW, the entire birth certificate flap is a red herring -- to distract attention from Øbama's real cause for disqualification.

~~~~~~~~~
If, OTOH, his BC shows that he has a US citizen (not BO, Sr.) as a father, he is guilty of prepetrating fraud on the Nation, and is impeachable.
~~~~~~~~~

Bottom line: Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is either ineligible to be President -- or, he is impeachable for fraud.

There is no other alternative.

I think the birth certificate has something on it that Obama wants to keep hidden.

It’s quite possible that he was born in Hawaii, so he would be born on American soil. However, it’s possible that the birth certificate has someone other than Barack Obama Senior as his father.

Maybe his birth name was Barry Dunham, and he was born out of wedlock. The cover story is that Barack Sr. and his mom were married but maybe they weren’t.

He was listed as Barry Obama in his high school yearbook. He went by Barry in those days. Somewhere along the way he came to prefer “Barack” as homage to African roots and his dad, apparently.

Lots of questions would be answered if we could just see the darn document.

Why has Obama spent over a million in legal fees and legal actions to keep the certificate hidden?

According to Obama he will be 49 in August. Unless he was delivered by a doctor who was under forty which is fairly young for a practicing physician the doctor is probably dead. Even if the doctor was only 30 which is very unlikely he is likely to have passed on already. A doctor doing a delivery is very likely to have been 45 or older in which case he is almost certainly long dead.

Chris Mclachlin was mentioned as a former basketball coach to the One, and as one who has been quoted in the press about his former pupil. I googled Mclachlin and found several very short references. There was very little insight except for the fact that Barry really wasn’t very good at basketball or with school grades. If anything it made me wonder how Barry developed into the leader of the Free World with not very much from his early life to recommend him. Is there anyone else who can tell stories about his earlier days. Any girl friends, neighbors, etc...?

I remember one time when Hugh Hewitt had Carol Platt Libeaut sit in for him. Sorry for the guess work on the spelling. From my memory, she was one year his junior on the Harvard Law Review. I believe she said that she followed him as the President in the following year. She indicated that most of the staff took their responsilities seriously, almost like a full time job. She said that Barry never wrote an article which was unusual. Getting an article published was considered a perk of having the high position. She also said that Barry was most frequently NOT in the office. He would tell people that he was working at home. She inferred that “working at home” was a euphemism for taking the day off.

Good point. I was just trying to suggest if there could be another way of going about the birth mystery.

Yes, I heard that, too. You have it just about word for word what she said. I agree that he is still a mystery 'man' to just about everyone. There is hardly a politician alive whom we know less about.
