DUBAI, United Arab Emirates—The Emirates nuclear energy company announced Thursday that it has picked a site in the country's far western region as its preferred location for the federation's first atomic power plants. Discuss COMMENTS (0)

The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corp. said it has submitted license applications for the proposed location to local regulators, who must give the green light to any nuclear sites.

This is an interesting development to muddy the waters.

It pretty much says all need nuclear for continuing growth and development.

Exactly right. Does Obama think for one minute the Arab nations are going to sit still while Iran goes nuclear on them?

This is nuclear proliferation on steroids.

The destabilization this guy is ushering in on purpose, should in a rational world get his butt kicked clear back to Kenya.

Wouldn't have anything to do with the ACTUAL size of the remaining reserves, by any chance, would it? ;') Thanks bert.

And the Middle East Arms Race is on. Arabs have obviously given up on the USA or Israel solving the Iranian problem, and are getting ready to become nuclear too.
