OoooooooooKAY, this just got old. It has become de rigueur these days to relentlessly post snot-nosed comments directed towards the Jewish people on threads relating to Israel and contemporary American and geo-political trends. I am very confident the owner of Free Republic agrees with me this is uncalled for, has absolutely no basis in "legitimate" discourse, it's continuance belying nothing other than an underlying hostility towards the Jewish people, and is caustic towards and undermines the stated mission of Free Republic.
For those of you who don't realize it, there is a very large contingent of Conservative Jewish people registered at Free Republic. They didn't "put Obama in the White House." McCain and the RINO leadership did. The relentless snide comments, slanders, and "stupid Jews" insinuations I am seeing pretty regular are insulting, ignorant, and dishonor and embarrass the Republican Party and Free Republic.
The Jews are a minority in America. Majority liberal Jews vote Democrat. They are learning quickly why that is reckless. But the Republican Party also has Jewish members who are rock solid Conservative, GOP stalwarts, and American to the bone, and as they have stated on discussion thread after thread, working tirelessly to get through to their friends and family about the hostility inherent in the Democrat left towards the nation of Israel. This, while deflecting personal attacks from within. And Jewish Americans are supposed to come here for voting advice?!
Therefore, we should be supporting the work of the Republican Jewish Coalition and the many Jewish FReepers who are members of it, not peppering these threads with snide comments about American Jews. The only American Jews that matter are the Jews at Free Republic and the RJC, and they don't deserve enduring this nonsense. When Israel finally nails Iran in clear self-defense - with or without American help - Jew hatred globally and in America is going to spike. Most will come from within the "progressive" left.
Their awakened refugees, burned by the inevitable fallout of Obama's failed policies WILL find the welcome mat out for them here.
