This shatters, shatters the notion that Barak and Michell are living a fairytale romantic union.
What will the NYT do? Maybe run articles about how the private lives of politicians is none of our business?
Here is a dripping essay lauding the first couple’s ideal union from Nov. 2009:

So I’m confused by implied time-frames here. Surely they’re not suggesting that a surveillance tape from six years ago could exist - aren’t those just recorded over again and again? No one exactly knew or cared who this guy was six years ago, did they?
Thanks, I did take a stab at looking for the post about the proximity to the Kenyan embassy but could not find it. Looked thru the ones you provided but no luck. Then again my eyes can only take so much, it’s late and I could have missed it. I just thought at the time that it was too much of a coincidence that he was so near the embassy when he buggered off and wanted to mention it anyway.

There was a thread on it and I remember someone looked up the location of his supposed disappearance and it was very close to the Kenyan embassy. It was the day after the news broke of some politician in Kenya speechifying that Obama was born there, a record of which was in the official government transcript - available online in PDF format.
