Their stick just got bigger...
I know some FReepers have an answer to this question: what is the best time of year to conduct an attack on Iran?
Israel developed their own Nuclear weapons, why should it surprise anyone that they could and WOULD develop what they needed to hit Iran.
Holding out on Israel only set them backfor a little while and they probabl;t spent more than they would have if the US had supplied it , but these people are in it for the long haul.
The only thing stopping peace in the mid east is the Muslim hatred of Israel.
BTTT
HA! JUST HA!!!
FUBO!!!
God bless and protect you, Israel. And, if the time comes and you do what you must, may God strengthen your courage and resolve.
Ping
and they hear our continuous yawns from across the pond.
they know this administration won’t support an offensive attack over the next 2.5 years, so sooner than later, they will have to do it on their own.
Iran’s leadership is due for an Extreme Makeover.
*ping*
I suspect that they are very quietly getting a lot of help from very unlikely sources, such as the Saudis and the Emirates. The Persian Shiite Bomb is a much greater nightmare to them than a Delaware-sized state full of Jews.
Ha! Take that!!!
“New Air Refueling System Gives Israel Capacity For Strike On Iran”
Well then what in God’s name are they waiting for?
Israel has icbm, cruise, and Predator-knockoff. They only have to get close for the last to have a significant target radius with a range of 400+ miles and an altitude of about 35000 ft. All can carry nukes.
This thread has descended into the ridiculous with comments about Israel stealing secrets on how to refuel. It’s not rocket science. We’ve been doing it in the US since the fifties.
Israel has never developed the capability prior to present because it is widely viewed (correctly so) as an offensive weapon and Israel has always maintained that it’s strategy was to defend Israel. To have developed the capability prior to now would have been viewed as a prelude to offensive operations outside the borders of Israel.
Don’t confuse what I’m saying by claiming that Israel, for instance, destroyed the Egyptian Air Force on the ground in one of the previous wars. That’s an entirely defensive strategy. Israel has probably had the technical knowhow and capability to refuel for decades. They didn’t need to steal secrets from anyone to learn how to do it. They have refrained til now for political reasons.

True or not I don't know, but without the support of the US, fueling systems are the problem. Wouldn't be the first problem Israel solved, would be the third nuclear threat they acted against in absense of a western response. Were it not for Osarik, there's a good chance we'd be approaching the 20th anniversary of Sadaam's liberation of Kuwait, and occupation of the Saudi oil fields. Or the 20th anniversary of a nuclear exchange.
