Poll: Angle Leads In NV-SEN Republican Primary

A new Patriot Majority/Public Policy Polling (D) survey of Nevada finds that former state Rep. Sharron Angle leads in the Republican primary for Senate, over establishment candidate and former state Sen. Sue Lowden and former UNLV basketball player Danny Tarkanian.

The numbers: Angle 29%, Lowden 26%, Tarkanian 24%, followed by state Rep. Chad Christensen and businessman John Chachas at 5% each. The poll of likely GOP primary voters has a ±3.8% margin of error.

A recent Mason-Dixon poll showed Angle surging into second place, trailing Lowden by 30%-25%, with Tarkanian at 22%. Lowden began the primary as the establishment favorite, but has stumbled as a result of her now-infamous suggestion that people use the barter system to lower their health care costs -- discussing how her grandparents' generation would bring a chicken to the doctor as payment.

Sharron Angle is just one of those candidates that makes me smile. Some people you can just tell aren't in it to lift themselves up and she is one of them. This is great. Now lets get to work on California and get DeVore across the finish line!

Disastrous. Angle will hand Reid another term in the Senate.

Reid won’t win. His negatives are too high.

Angle may win by less than Tark or Louden, but they have thier own negatives too.

Patriot Majority is run by Craig Varoga. He was a staffer for Harry Reid. This org is a 527, specifically created to do IEs for guys like Reid. Read this on exactly what they do.

Profile: Patriot Majority

This group hates Angle, Lowden and Tark.

Here they are talking trash about the Tea Party

This so called poll is a push poll

Patriot Majority's goals are first to make tons of money from their donors, SEIU and NEA etc... and try and get Reid elected.

Not sure why but Reid does not want to run against Lowden. So everything he does is to trash her...

Angle is a proven loser. She totally self-destructed in the race against Heller (and her antics almost had the Democrats win the safest GOP House seat in the state) and followed it up with a fiasco run against the RINO Bill Raggio. She is a toxic candidate, another Katherine Harris, whose unpopular Democrat opponent only won because his negatives were lower than hers. Any of the current GOP candidates would be superior.

Didn’t PPP get the Burns race wrong as well as the NY race? I believe her numbers are rising but I can’t figure PPP out. They seem hit and miss with their results.

I hope this is true however.

The thing PPP did wrong was I think it oversampled Republicans. I think it also missed the Burns Russell problem. I looked at Armstrong county and it appeared clearly that Republicans crossed over to Critz. I’ll wait till Rasmussen. I trust his numbers but I think Angle is definitely on the rise and Lowden really hurt herself.

What do they say “if boobs were brains?”. :-) Personally I’m happy with any of the candidates though I’m troubled by the propensity Lowden to misspeak things. I used to support Tarkanian but I support Angle now because she is clearly the most comfortable in her skin of any of the candidates. She also has a very clear record. Plus she makes me smile. I dismissed her at first because I didn’t think she had much of a chance and the reason I went with Tarkanian is that Lowden appeared to be a political talker type rather than a straight talker. I’m tired of typical politicians. I’m tired of them failing to stand up for us or acting like weasels in front of the media. Sharron Angle is just a good solid salt of the earth conservative women who loves her country. She isn’t looking to be bought and paid for and the best part she is one of us. A humble woman who smiles easily. I like Charles Djou for the same reason.

I’m sick of the fakery in politics.

So whats so bad about bringing up the barter system and the fact that people used to pay their doctors that way including with chickens. I don’t see the problem.
