Just an excuse to shut down the pipeline and finish off the oil industry.

Well then, I demand that we shut down the pipeline until we can determine who is at fault and bring them to justice. And there must be a moratorium on creation of new pipelines until we have fully determined what caused this obvious lack of concern by Big Oil and determine a means to stop the wanton destruction of our environment.
It’s the moral thing to do, after all...

The Alaska Pipeline began operation in 1977. A recent spill amounted to several thousand barrels of oil. Meanwhile the Gulf well is leaking at millions of barrels of oil per day!
Maybe drilling in the ANWAR North Dakota and Montana might be more eco friendly!

An obvious attempt to direct attention away from Obama’s failure in the Gulf spill.

Lack of storage capacity at Pump Station 9 contributed to Tuesday's spill. During a routine maintenance check, power went out, causing a valve to open and channel oil into a storage tank, which overflowed. Oil streamed into a bermed secondary containment area. That containment area is lined with an impermeable liner and state and company officials say no oil escaped from the area.Looks like they handled it nicely with little no environmental damage.

The last few weeks have not been pleasant, have they? If it weren't for that mishap in the gulf, that heart attack last week and the replacement hip this week and the car accident on the way home from the hospital would have been tolerable.
Thank God we have the Messiah on site at the Gulf making sure everything will be alright tomorrow.

Most of the states have oil. Here in Michigan, all 68 counties have oil. Its low grade oil but it has its uses. Also the great lakes have natural gas under them.
The man I’m voting for congressman supports slant drilling under the lakes for that gas.

I'm all in favor of drilling in ANWR. The Bakken field in North Dakota and Montana has had drilling and production for years. It is the reason North Dakota is already the 4th largest oil producing state.

It has had some drilling and production. It is newer for development.
I have not seen a separate assesment of size.

Oil under my wifes family farm in Blaisdel is ENORMUS!
A new oil strata below the Bakken layer has everyone's eye wide and bright. However there is the largest prairie dog colony in the world that must be protected! The Beefalo herd must be jerked along as well!
Happy BBQ day!
