What you may not realize is that I believe up to 50 million Americans would practically walk off a cliff with this pied-piper charlatan. That’s how uninformed your fellow citizens really are these days.
Then why did they exist before women had the vote? There seem to be tons of male Democrats voting and holding office.
Context my friend, context. I was referring to who I blame for this national nightmare, it’s not single women.
Just as ignorant as those voters you mentioned are the SC Republican primary voters who in 2008 nominated Lindsey Graham.

There has been quite a bit of research on the phenomenon of single, white women being one of the most consistent, and strongest, voting blocs for the Democrat party. It has held for more than a generation now. And you are correct -- it is a vote based on the concept of security. Single, white women...as a group...vote so strongly Democrat out of the idea that the government is more likely to provide what they consider to be economic security for them if run by the Democrat party. That is the primary driver for their voting habits.
Many of them prefer that the state rather than a man be their provider. Marriage fell off tremendously after Castro took over in Cuba. The same thing has happened in the USA, but more recently.

Why after what I just said would you assume I don’t realize it. There are millions that believe anything the news media cooks up, global warming as the biggest example.I just had some guy tell me how bad the air was getting (he was hyping switching to electric cars)because if he goes outside with a flashlight at night he sees dust particles in the light. Yeah, never mind that if he’d been around a couple of hundred years ago he’d have seen the same thing above a campfire. He was going around taping gauze filters on the backs of portable fans out of fear of the air.
I’m another white single woman who has never voted for a Democrat, and definitely NOT Obama. I have always been a Conservative.
However, I knew a lot of white single women who DID vote for Obama. I no longer associate with those women, but from what I’ve heard, they still love him. Nowadays, when introduced to others like Obama voters, I simply move along. There is no room in my life for them.

I think the male/female party split is well documented. Also, don’t forget a large proportion of these single white women are part of the MTV “rock-the vote” crowd.
