According to Gallup, "White single women, unmarried, widowed, divorced, and separated" voted "overwhelmingly" for Obama. On this Memorial Day, this crucial slice of Obama's base of support without whom he would have been elected owe this nation an apology. Blacks; Hispanics; and Moslems voted tribal politics. But this group was more than liberal, it included a large segment of conservatives and independents who had soured on Bush. Today with $13 trillion in debt- almost $12 trillion of it accumulated in the last six months alone, a burgeoning government; a foreign policy in tatters from Iran, to N. Korea to the Middle-East; our allies left to dry, a national unemployment that hovers at 10%; and the real prospect of a double-dip recession. Add to this the current environmental catastrophe, and in a short span the US is well on its way to be reduced to its knees. How did this singular powerful group of white women inflict this impossible tragedy on our nation?

You’re right about this. It may sound sexist but I believe that women are more easily persuaded by emotion than by reason. Obama is nothing but emotion! Touchy-feely bullshit, through and through, and phony to the core.

I know a middle aged woman who voted for 0bama and now she is very dissapointed and mad. I think she now hates him with a passion but she won’t admit it.

I don’t see any particular reason why white single women, unmarried, widowed, divorced, or separated would be terribly alarmed by any national debt. They never have been terribly interested in it or its consequences before now. Why start now?

A lot of single mothers want the government to be their husbands. Also, polls have consistently shown that women are incredibly ignorant about facts reagarding politics. Many just voted for Obama because he seemed “cool” compared to McCain.

This single white woman did not vote for Obama. I tried to tell everyone I knew not to vote for him and got told I was old fashioned, out of touch, racist, uninformed etc. I’m talking about men and women. My coworker was so amused at my dislike for Obama that he put an Obama bumper sticker on my car as a joke.
