I wish that VA had run-offs if no one got 50%+1 (or at least 40%+1 as in NC) in primaries. Heck, I wish every state had primary run-offs.

I’ll take you a step further: let’s get rid of primaries. Why should the taxpayers pay for elections to select candidates for political parties? The parties can do that on their dime via coventions, caucuses or whatever.
Not to mention that primaries tend to favor weak candidates.
