I didn't see a live thread started, so I figured I'd go ahead and post one.
A big primary day. I believe it's 12 states including the Commonwealth of Virginia.
What an interesting idea! Wish I had thought of it.
Great work!
and a Frelinghuysen was Henry Clay’s running mate in 1844. (Polk won)
why NO on 16? Don’t you think 2/3 vote should be required when it comes to spending public funds on electricity programs? CA: 13-YES 14-NO 15-NO 16-YES 17-YES
NorCal. I voted at about 11AM and I was the only one there. Poll workers said it was dead
I hope that’s not true statewide.
Voted Poizner and DeVore even though I till have not seen one of his ads
So. Cal.. voted for both Poisner and DeVore...
decided to go with Orly just last night.
I voted same as you on the Props
You’re welcome.
Looks like Rigell is winning in VA-2.
Uggh.
RINO?
SC Gov -
35 of 2,109 precincts reporting (2%)
Nikki Haley 4,365 42%
Gresham Barrett 2,967 29%
Henry McMaster 1,806 17%
Andre Bauer 1,210 12%
Who is the conservative?
Haley?
WTG SC!!!
Associated Press calls the race for Demint. BULLETIN (AP) - Jim DeMint, GOP, nominated U.S. Senate, South Carolina.
“RINO?”
Well, he donated $$$ to 0’s campaign and to Mark Warner and a local lib state Senator. I’d say less a RINO and more like a fox in the henhouse. The 2 conservatives in the race (Mizasawa and Loyola) appear to have split the conservative vote.
Double ughh.
SC Election results here:
http://www.enr-scvotes.org/SC/16117/27193/en/summary.html
Gresham Barrett (REP) 13.14% 360
Andre Bauer (REP) 11.94% 327
Nikki R Haley (REP) 35.45% 971
Henry McMaster (REP) 39.47% 1,081
Mostly DEMS up in No. Cal (Frisco, etc). Good thing the polls are dead. Lack of interested Dems is a GOOD thing.
They already called Jim Demint the winner for senate repub primary in SC...his opponent didn’t have a platform or even a web page it was a one sentence blog entry:
Welcome to my blog, and thank you for choosing to learn about my campaign.

Haley was endorsed by Sara Palin, and the ex wife of our present Gov. Sanford.
In SC all Repubs are pretty conservative (or they say they are) compared to the rest of the country.
Bauer is our present Lt. Gov., but he is so looney that an attempt to impeach Sanford failed in part because the legislature feared putting Bauer in that office.
Lots of drama in SC politics.
323 of 2,109 precincts - (15 percent) Nikki Haley - 42% / Gresham Barrett - 25% / Henry McMaster - 19% / Andre Bauer - 14%
Most of the counties further than 50 miles from the coast are quite conservative. Unfortunately no real population to offset Frisco and LA
This is our local South Carolina tv website link. Updated every 10 minutes. The Republicans must get 50% +1 or the top two will have a run-off election scheduled two weeks from today.
