You know when you go up to your member of Congress and ask if they support the president’s agenda how they almost always take a swipe at you and then put you in a semi headlock? Yeah, Democrat Rep. Bob Etheridge of N. Carolina did that to a student who approached him on the street.
Etheridge’s opponent Renee Ellmers’ campaign might get some advertising mileage out of this one (suggested slogan: “I’ll focus my swings on knocking out the debt instead of my constituents”):

Newsbusters asks: Did Etheridge commit a crime? Well, Etheridge voted for the health care sham, so he may have done so long before he took a swipe at this kid.
Reminder for Democrats: If somebody comes up to you and expresses a concern for where their tax dollars are going, just do like Charles Rangel and say “None of your damn business” and walk away.

This guy’s days are numbered...not sure what the polls show, but I think his district has an R registration advantage and McCain might have even won it in 2008.
His opponent needs this video on his own campaign ads like pronto.
The kid needs to be taught a lesson so that he knows not to speak to his masters without first being addressed by them. Assault and battery are very effective in teaching such a lesson. Not that it was assault and battery as he is a congressthug and the offensive person a commoner.
Someone should do a re-mix of that video with The Who’s ‘Who Are You’ as the soundtrack.

This kid’s parents need to press charges. If this kid is a juvenile then Etheridge has bigger problems.

Hope they all wear their purple shirts with the yellow SEIU lettering on them. Those colors stand out well in a “spotting” scope.
