No, probably not. Since there is only roughly 5% of the population that is really gay, you would have to have a shipload of friends to have any who are gay (whether we know it or not)...and of course, if they were, in fact, friends, we would know.
Well some of us may have friends who are “kind of gay” or “a bit gay” or “bisexual” as opposed to “REALLY Gay” so that ups the percentages! ;-)

I find it interesting (and telling!) that People makes it look like John (the homosexual) is the one doing the "reaching out", and not Limbaugh, who was the one doing the inviting . . . .

I havent cared much for his art since the early 70s (Tumbleweed Connect and Madman Across the Water), but thats just me.
I take it you're not the Disney Music type of fellow....

If Elton lives to be 200, he couldnt spend all he has...I read somewhere that Elton is a spendthrift. He has spent rather freely most of the millions he made. So he may indeed need the money, at least to support the lifestyle of the super rich that he is used to.

I think it depends on where you live. Certain areas have higher gay populations than others thus a higher probability of stealth gay contact.

I presume you are not aware of differences in accepted common usage of EnglishAh, the "can't beat 'em, join 'em usage?
Just because it's accepted & everyone says it, doesn't make it a correct usage.

I agree too! Besides, I heard him gush and gush and gush over Marta all those years ago. We all expect him to be happy right now, but it was just a tad over the top.

Yes. Much to my pleasant surprise, I’ve found several other FReepers who are male lesbians as well!
We should satart a group of conservatives who are male lesbians. Maybe call them “3 Bedroom Split Level Contemporary Conservatives.”

LOL.
Not so much. Although maybe they could make Ry Cooder’s My Name is Buddy into an animated feature film. I’d watch that.
I did my time with Disney with my daughters, the youngest of whom is now 18.

John also saw it as another opportunity, in his words, "to go where people wouldn't expect me to go." That ship has sailed, Reginald.

I was actually referring to Elton John's most recent ( and probably latest ) work --- THE LION KING ( brought to you courtesy of Disney).
His songs are still a hit on Broadway.
I doubt if he sang any of those Disney songs at Rush's wedding ( although CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT might have been apropos ).

Fixed it.
