The president last night addressed the nation on the oil slick, nearly two months into the disaster. He seems stunned that a single man in Washington is being held responsible for either a human error that is polluting the gulf, or an act of god that led to a tragic chain of events, inevitable at some point when drilling from 5,000 feet above the ocean floor.
Do not we see the injustice of it all, of holding a green Mr. Obama culpable for either the blowout or the tardy and insufficient efforts at clean-up? Does Obama appoint another “czar?” Does he do to BP what he did to Las Vegas, the saw-happy surgeons, Rush Limbaugh and Fox News? Is the spill to oil companies what the 2008 panic was to GM? Is there some sort of cash-for-clunkers PR fix? A Bush memo to be found ordering drilling from a zillion feet? Perhaps another “wise Latina,” or an “Oooh. Van Jones, alright! So, Van Jones” to recruit?
What to do? Where to turn? Whom to blame? Who unfairly established this strange post-Katrina precedent that the president of all people — not the mayor, not the governor, not private enterprise — is ultimately responsible?
We can all question that unfair premise, and did so in 2005, but critics like Obama himself made the federal response to Katrina a campaign issue. And so here we are with him hoisted with his own petard.

Much has been made that the MSNBC and left-wing punditry crowd are turning on Obama, especially after last night’s non-speech. Sorry, I don’t quite believe they adjudicate Obama on competency, since the spill speech was no worse than the pathetic “I could no more disown Rev. Wright” riff of yesteryear, one that gave them a collective tingle.
Instead, Obama is now 42% to 48% in most polls, not soaring to 65% or demolishing Hillary. In other words, if right now Obama were still beloved, his former hagiographers would find a way to turn his Gulf performance into another ‘”I wasn’t there all that much at Trinity” excuse. But Obama, whom they all so invested in, is the most polarizing figure since Nixon, and has the unique ability to destroy liberalism for a generation: lose the House and maybe even the Senate; turn the public off on government, divide the country over health care, cap-and-trade, race, and amnesty; and completely discredit a shamelessly partisan media.
No, the sudden damning of Obama’s leadership is a symptom that Obama is turning radioactive, and not even Chris Matthews wants to be the last zealot in Washington crafting yet another narrative of how brilliant and tingly a soon-to-be 30% president “really” is.
In a weird way, the green issue is a gift from the gods for the liberal media: it allows them “on principle” (cf. Maureen Dowd) to distance themselves from Obama (as in “we don’t compromise with the environment” when, in fact, they compromise on everything from Predator assassinations, windmills off Martha’s Vineyard, solar panels in tortoise country, Guantanamo, etc. as long as there is power to be had or amplified).
But again, oil in the Gulf, like blood in the water, suddenly makes it “principled” for an opportunistic shark to take
Gulf War III, ha-ha, good one!!!
This allowed for massive cracks stretching far out from the original hole that now have enlarged to rivers of oil.

He nails it in his most eloquent style. But who among us isn’t waiting for the other shoe to drop? All those enemies at the gate. Given the almplified weakness coming from the once respected Oval Office,I’m certain one or more will make a move within weeks. THen the SHTF.

Someone, or someone(s), somewhere knows the real story on a whole bunch of Barry’s previous life. Things like where he was really born, and what he really did in college, and what really went on with Tony Rezko. If they think the Obamafish is indeed bleeding in the water and his ability to retaliate is diminished, it will all come out like a load of diarreha. It will stink and it will be messy and it should lead to impeachment.
I fully believe that obama is not just a decapitation strike on the US, but a twelver like his friend Ahmadinejad. With the ultimate goal of bringing the islamic Armageddon, and the 12th imam.

NO NO NO NO, we don’t want this guy impeached. We want congressional inquiries for two years and then the election of 2012.
We don’t want the MSM to make him a martyr or speak endlessly about the racist lynching of the first black president.
NO NO NO NO, reveal everything, if he was born somewhere else, then all of his legislative victories become null and void and it was as if he were never there but for the twenty year clean up.
NO Impeachment. They’ll make him the victim.
We have to do this smart, not necessarily quick.
I think once the elections are over this November and we regain a majority, we will see mass defections and hopefully, some key resignations (like Holder, Gibbs, etc.)Impeachment proceedings should happen early next year...if we can hold on that long. That’s been my feeling for months now and many will say no chance in Hell...but I am sticking with it. THere’s just too many skeletons in this guy’s closet to keep something from percolating up.

All of that information could be made public but if the Left Press does not take it up and and proclaim it day after day, it will be to no avail. It will be so much mumbling by a fellow alone in a room. The Left and its Press does not care where a man was born. Even if they turn solidly against Soetoro they will not permit his citizenship or the circumstances of his birth to be recognized. They are too invested in the idea that the American President, being the President of the World should be nominated by The World and voted on by the Citizens of the World.

We don't want Biden as president, ever. We do want Mrs. Bill to have a fight for 2012 and to be out of official running for so long as possible. If the Kenyan is afflicted with impeachment procedures, Hillarius will be running full on from that moment. If he is still a plausible candidate she must tread gingerly in order to not finish trashing her party and thus her aspirations.
