But no one at FNC has the balls to tell BOR to STFU for 30-60 seconds and let his guests respond.

It would have been a funnier interview if she slipped and accidentally called him Ted (Baxter).

Bill does not like her at all..period, simple as that. Ever since she told him in one interview that he was wrong he has been on her case ever since. Sarah has too much class to tell Bill right there to shut his pot hole..I of course would have told him that flat out but she will never do that. Bill is a blow hard, he annoys the hell outta me. He shows NO respect to the people he has on his show. People he agrees with and people he disagrees with, he always talks over them like he owns the damn joint

BTW.....BOR was trying to bait her into supporting amnesty, I caught that for sure.

She’s never gonna be allowed time to spell out some sophisticated plan in ANY interview with Ted Baxter. period!

Apparently, some of us watched different interviews.

I watched the same interview you did. She did all right and Ted Baxter is still a jerk. A Ted Baxter interview is no place for a sohisticated immigration policy discussion even if one was warranted, which it wasn't.

"Whatever it takes" to secure the border. Works for me.

I was just watching this online. She did seem to struggle with answering “well what will we do with the illegals” but no politician or public servant has an answer to that question. I was thinking that if anyone steps up with a serious answer to that question that person will have early dibs on 2012.

Actually, it is what she said. Stop the bleeding, then create a plan for the families here. Step 2 involves voluntary registration. Step 3 involves deporting all those not registering. Step 4 is taking a concerted approach to those wishing to legally become citizens. Step 5 is providing a patriotic path to citizenship. I gleaned at least that much.

Self-deportation is a great start. Penalties for employers kick starts that. Shutting down wire transfers pretty much seals it.

Then, we get serious. It is logistically possible and and great potential use of stimulus funds to trace, locate and repatriate illegals.

Get rid of the anchor baby interpretation.

No amnesty. A serious review of the current quotas is in order as citizens need jobs now. Everyone else who wants to play by the rules can get in line.

Well that may be a fair point, I thought the interview was live but honestly wasn’t paying enough attention to know for sure. The point is that Sarah Palin has the right ideas about how to deal with illegal immigration, but in this interview at least, didn’t present them in the best way.

She ought to re-consider appearing on BOR in my opinion, as she’ll never be able to dominate him, and no matter what he says, he will always have “the last word”. If her contract with Fox News allows, I’d much rather see her doing a special program on topics like immigration than just providing eye candy to boost BOR’s ratings while being unable to present her ideas in a complete fashion.

Everybody is talking about border security now - even John McCain but that does not mean that she is ahead of the curve. She seems to be behind the curve. I want her to articulate the importance of deportation by attrition. The only thing that will work will be the illegals leaving the country of their own volition because they cannot find work or welfare anymore. Tom Tancredo and other border warriors have talked about this for years. Sarah should sit down with Tancredo if she really wants credibility with people like myself who have been following the issue for years. The weak point now is what to do with 13-20 million illegals. There are two choices - it can be our problem or it can be their problem. Tom Tancredo believes it should be their problem. They created the problem, they should fix the problem for us by leaving. If we show any weakness we will be back in the same stew again.

The Reagan amnesty failed because the wrong doers were not punished. The illegal aliens themselves were not punished but were rewarded with the ability to stay here. The cheap labor busnesses who hired them were not punished and continued to encourage illegals in crossing the border and the la raza groups continued with their ethnic empowerment agenda. The political parties, especially the democrats would keep on playing their power games for their votes. If the illegals received another amnesty by any other name, the same factors would still be in place drawing the illegals across the border.

Reagan never followed-up. Nobody did. It is rampant now. The illegals are creating massive problems due to a shadow existence and that is what they either prefer or have been forced to deal with. The Border must be contained, NOW!

BOR is an egotistical creep. I don’t know why Fox keeps him on. He is rude to his guests, and he obviously does not like Palin and kept interupting her.

Shutting down wire transfers pretty much seals it.

No puede enviar dinero!

Boycott every bank that enables the establishment of illegal aliens in this country so they can send money out of this country.

I didn’t see anything odd about his interview with Gov. Palin. She got her point across. He wanted a solution to all of it. She basically said the process would be handled in a step by step measure. Those that prefer the shadow will be deported.

I am not saying that she said that but that is the objection that is always raised, that it is inhumane to send them back home. We are always hearing about families being separated yadayadayada. A lot of this high drama is just smoke and mirrors but the pro illegal propaganda machine has created a great myth about illegal immigration. We have to be tough and not fall for all of that tear jerking propaganda. Many people just buckle under this because they do not know how to handle this. They are made to feel guilty and they do not want to look mean. It takes a special person to know how to handle this type of situation.
