I saw many hugh buildings under construction. I mean, these buildings are going to be skyscrapers. They were around that light rail system that nobody uses.
many of those have stopped construction, some are working with fewer workers. My son has been on reduced work hours for over a year. No doubt the city is hurting, not sure it will ever recover, thanks to Reid and Obama. Years back I had to work with Reid, I know what a rat he is, he hasn’t changed over the years. I now live in Alabama but watch NV politics closely and pray he loses this year
There were Mexicans w/ green cards in the raid I witnessed who did as most everyone else, they just watched. They did so because they knew they had nothing to fear as they were legal. Of the Mexicans who ran, they had nowhere to hide so most were caught. Of those, ALL were illegal. Their employer(s) were fined and one, the plastering contractor, went out of business because he lost most of his work force. Good riddance to all.
It worked too.
I’ve lived in southern California 39 years, or since 1971. In that time I’ve met/encountered untold thousands of mexicans and I’ve never met a one who I would think was smart enough to come up with such a plan. Perhaps it was concocted by their white employer.
Ah give poor harry a break, he just needs his soiled diaper changed.

Nevada tops the nation when it comes to the percentage of illegal immigrants in the workforce, according to a report issued today by the Pew Hispanic Center.
The Washington-based think tank estimates that 170,000 workers, or 12.2 percent of the state's total, are illegal immigrants. That is more than twice the national average, which is 5.4 percent. The top five were rounded out by California, Arizona, New Jersey and Florida. The figures are 2008 estimates.
The report also estimates that there are 230,000 undocumented immigrants in Nevada, placing the state 13th nationwide.
Other findings in the report include that 4 million children, or nearly three-fourths of the children born to illegal immigrants, are U.S. citizens by birth.
The report also notes that Nevada is one of five states in which at least one in 10 children in K-12 schools has a parent who is an illegal immigrant.

Actually, using Harry Reid’s “logic,” there really ARE no illegal aliens working construction in Nevada. In fact, there are no illegal aliens anywhere, regardless of state or occupation. Nope, there are only undocumented immigrant workers. See how much better that sounds when you use lib weasel words?
The media can’t be bothered to report this. They’re too busy waiting for Sharon Angle to mention Jesus or gun rights.
