Alan Grayson *is* nuts, but one could argue that their salary would be higher if their employer didn’t have to pay so many taxes for hiring them.

I thought for a long time that they were insane. But it turns out that they are just evil. There is no reasoning with an insane person and there can be no compromise with an evil person.

This disgrace to the human race keeps saying evil things, KNOWING that what he says is false, and no one takes him on. He is not the only one; just the most obnoxious.

Your analysis is correct. Grayson is nuts/ignorant or lying/soulless.

I happen to believe it’s the latter.

THE KEY PART :” As this clip of his MSNBC interview shows, Grayson states repeatedly that unemployed people are ‘entitled’ to unemployment benefits because they have paid for it through their paychecks. In the beginning of the clip Grayson specifically states: “ Republicans worked so hard to block any benefits to them even though they’ve paid into the unemployment insurance system in every single paycheck. You look at your paycheck you’ll see there is a word on there called FUTA, F-U-T-A. People pay into this system. It’s not welfare, it’s insurance.” Well, it should not be all that surprising to find out that someone as nutty as Grayson is would be 100% wrong in the assertion that individual employees pay unemployment taxes. The IRS website describes the FUTA tax thusly: The Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA), with state unemployment systems, provides for payments of unemployment compensation to workers who have lost their jobs. Most employers pay both a Federal and a state unemployment tax. A list of state unemployment tax agencies, including addresses and phone numbers, is available in Publication 926, Household Employer's Tax Guide. Only the employer pays FUTA tax; it is not deducted from the employee's wages. The last line is underlined for the benefit of people like Grayson, who apparently have no idea how unemployment insurance actually works. To summarize, unemployment insurance taxes are paid by employers. There are no deductions from employees’ paychecks for FUTA.

I unfortunately talk to liberals here and they have claimed the same thing that Grayson said above. That the employees pay the FUTA. This came up because I pointed out the employer tax was raised (In Maryland) as unemployment went up, meaning the government made it more expensive to keep employees as unemployment went up.

You tube has Grayson walking into a coffee shop, and attacking a small group of republicans having a quiet meeting. Grayson is screaming like a psychopath. He IS a psychopath.

This is a very evil Lawyer (as are all Lawyers) and has always been insane.

Please don't answer your door. It is my process server advising you of my class action suit on behalf of all the non-evils.

Ok. I'm probably joking.

Uhhhh - wouldn’t an “Honest Lawyers” class action suit representing yourself be something of a joke in and of its self?

However, in the spirit of Olech v. Willowbrook, where Judge Posner noted that a class action of one little old lady was arguably the weakest of litigants and therefore what class action suits were about, your class action on behalf of honest lawyers would seem to be valid.

;-)

Once I made an ambulance chaser joke to a personal injury lawyer.

The guy was totally humorless.
