I really hope nothing is published and nothing is leaked until after the mid-term elections. W owes that to all of us fighting for the survival of this nation and its laws not to turn attention away from the issues and onto him.

We’re many of the people who defended him against all odds for eight years. Delay in the release of the book and its prelaunch leaks would be a wonderful way for the former President to say “thank you”.

Good grief Bush couldn't even run through bills on GOP majority. Bush is almost as Liberal on many things as Al Gore. I'm guessing that the Bush handlers had let the publisher set the timetable, and the publishers timed the release to be in the week before the election.

Once the Bush handlere got wind of this, they demanded that the book be delayed until after the election.

I still expect the publishers to leak the juciest parts before the election.

Remember, the Bushes (all of them) are tone-deaf when it comes to reading the political pulse of those around them.

November 9 was always the date....all the early release speculation was just that.

That’ll only be so if there aren’t the usual pre-release leaks for marketing purposes. Better timing would have been a few weeks later. September would have been a big, big stinker, but early November is still problematic.
