My semantics were a bit off here. Should have said “God NEVER leaves anyone who hasn’t left him first.” When I say this, people often bring up Job. Well, in the end, God didn’t leave Job, either.
Thanks for the clarification. I agree with it whole heartedly. God never abandons anyone who stands with Him, even if it is only to hold our hand as we move from this world of temporary existence into the eternity of the here after.
