TOPICS: Extended News; Government; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: economy; elections; healthcare; obama; obamacare; poll
I've seen a number of articles discussing parts of the poll, but this is the only one I've seen that has the summary of Obama's approval on all 12 issues polled.

The numbers are dismal for Obama -- most of the issues are quite interesting, see results in the article.

A good article, it has been posted before as a separate thread, but it gives good overview of WHY many Americans are getting tired of Obama, now that they start to figure out what he stands for:

Socialism/Communism has failed every time it has been tried. It won’t be any different here. Obama’s utopia is a parasite that relies on capitalism for its survival. Now, there aren’t many capitalists left in the world. Obama took care of that.

When you’ve lost David Letterman, you’ve lost the country.

(or something like that)

“A report card of 12 F’s”

Of course, this “student,” when asked about his own performance, thought he merely should be given an “Incomplete.”

The truly scary thing is that he still has a 47% overall approval rating in the same poll. Until Blacks begin to abandon him he’ll remain in the 40s.

How he can have a 29% approval on the economy and still be at 47 overall makes no sense to me at all. There’s no way there should be a 20 pt gap between those two. I think the 29 is the more meaningful # of the two.

I guess a lot of dems don’t approve of the economy but still have faith in him or don’t want to admit to themselves the truth.

His #s are inflated by black and hispanic support anyway. As long he has 90% and 50% of them he’ll never fall below 40 or so. His #s among whites are the same or worse than W’s/ But Bush had close to zero among blacks and around 25 among hispanics so he was way down. That gives Obama at least a 12 pt boost.
