For some reason, I can’t load the full article. Regardless, this is pure liberal nonsense. No one should be on a “leave of absence” for 24 years, even if they’ve been battling cancer or something like that. At some point, they either get fired or go on disability.

I served 7 years in the USAF then was honorably discharged (think of it as a leave of absence)to serve myself, I mean the country elsewhere, I’m ready to collect my pension after 25 years of private sector duty.
