My chat with JD Hayworth...
self | August 21, 2010 | Hildy

Posted on 08/21/2010 4:58:02 PM PDT by Hildy

OK, so before I get started I have to tell everyone here that JD Hayworth reads what we post here. And he REMEMBERS! LOL! I am a JD supporter, and several months ago when I met him for the first time, he told me he likes to come here to FreeRepublic and read what we have to say. I was going to have him come here, but I never followed through, which was my fault. However, I have been hard on him in recent weeks.

I have to say that because Mohave County, where I live, is so conservative, conservative candidates take us for granted. Mohave County is NOT McCain land, so it's hard for me to gauge what's really going on around the State. I hadn't seen many JD ads and frankly, McCain is spending all his money attacking (in a very ugly manner) Hayworth. If everyone in Mohave would get off their asses and vote, we'd sway this election and there'd be no more Senator McCain. But we all know that's not the way it works.

However, someone high up in Republican politics from Phoenix told me the other day that she believes JD has a very strong chance as she knows NOBODY who is voting for McCain. So although I don't see the campaign too much here in Mohave, I understand now that he has been working really hard in Maricopa where elections are won and lost. That made me feel better as I slipped into my seat at the Mohave County Republican Picnic today.

I saw Hayworth and went over to say hello. The first thing he did was hug me and then ask me why I've turned on him! (Of course, this was all done with a smile on both our faces)...He proceeded to recite back to me some of the things I've written here on FR. LOL! I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT I WRITE FROM DAY TO DAY..the guy has an incredible memory!

So, I know he's reading this now, and I have to tell you that he must have taken his "adorable pills" because he was sweet and adorable and NOT bombastic like I have said in the past!

Seriously, the bottom line is we must defeat McCain. If only that Jim Deakins (who is a nut and I hope he's reading this too) would have done the right thing and stepped aside, I'd feel much better about everything today.

My support for JD has never swayed. I support him, I'm voting for him and I am asking everyone from Arizona to vote for him on Tuesday.

GOOD LUCK ON TUESDAY, J.D.!!!!

Good, we all just need to get out there and vote. I got polled the other night by a “Friends of John McCain” polling company. I enjoyed telling them I was voting for JD and $20 million wasn’t enough to buy MY vote. LOL

I was in 2 protests with JD. He didn’t just hide behind the dais, he was down with us peons marching until it was his time to speak. He’s the real deal.

My concern are the crossover voters. You know they’ll go with Juan. It infuriates me.

Thank you,, ((( Hildy ))) and God Bless you, GF!

You’ve never let up in your work for JD and I’ve never let up in my hope and prayers for JD to pull off a win on August 24, 2010.

I remeber posting “miracles” happen and now I’m thinking we only need a small miracle or a blessed large conservative voter turn out!

How’s the absentee ballots going?

I ‘ll be forever appalled that McCain spent $20+ MILLION on this race that has to include some of MY money that I only sent because of Sarah Palin.

JD quit his daytime job to take on McCain and by God and everything righteous, AZ, get out and vote for JD and take or make all of your family members vote too and your neighbors and their friends and their neighbors. Make it happen.

I’m going to come back to ping some lists of mine.

Thanks again, Hildy and BEST WISHES AND PRAYERS FOR YOU, JD!

YOU’RE A PATRIOT!

(I make a lot of typos - I am not going to proof read)...LOL.

Will any of this help JD ?

McCain

Capitol Hill staffers rate their bosses.
Worst Follower 2. John McCain (R-Ariz.)

Show Horse 2. John McCain (R-Ariz.)

Hottest Temper 2. John McCain (R-Ariz.) known to snap at staff when the cameras are off

HELLO ARIZONA!!!! You’ve made us proud with your stand against the tyrannical Obama Administration and open borders and your willingness to enforce our immigration laws!

But you’re making the same mistake you’ve made for 24 years...you are believing lies.....
The never ending stream of lies from John McCain and his supporters.

Indeed, Sen. McCain has been on the stump in Arizona of late, telling everyone how he supports SB 1070, how he wants to ‘secure the border’ and is against ‘amnesty’.

HE IS LYING, again!!! Stop letting this man use you!

How SOON we forget! But you better remember HIS WORDS!

*“America is still the land of opportunity,” Senator John McCain recently said. “And we’re not going to erect barriers and fences.” June 26, 2007 National Review

*SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, R-ARIZ.: I do not favor using troops because they are not trained for it. They don’t have the kind of qualifications necessary. I have strongly favored us using all the technical equipment that our military has including satellites, including aircraft and other technical means. May, 2001
*McCain continues to be well, McCain, throwing out liberal lines to catch the unsuspecting. Here he promises to push the failed Kyoto treaty.

“I am committed as President to pursue the efforts to reduce greenhouse gasses immediately. That includes joining Kyoto as long as we have India and China involved. It would not be fair to the planet to say the two largest growing economies who are greenhouse gas emitters are not part of it.” April, 2010

*On the ‘View’: Meghan McCain Blasts Tea Parties
Sen. John McCain’s daughter says the movement is filled with “innate racism.”
Does ANYONE think Meghan isn’t doing her father’s bidding???
*On the 2008 campaign trail: McCain had been asked how debate over the immigration bill was playing politically. “In the short term, it probably galvanizes our base,” he said. “In the long term, if you alienate the Hispanics, you’ll pay a heavy price.” Then he added, unable to help himself, “By the way, I think the fence is least effective. But I’ll build the goddamned fence if they want it.”

* May 29, 2003 interview: McCain: “Amnesty has to be an important part because there are people who have lived in this country for 20, 30 or 40 years, who have raised children here and pay taxes here and are not citizens.“

* Dec. 15, 2000 press release: McCain: ”I support the Latino and Immigrant Fairness Act (LIFA). Negotiations between the White House and the leadership, which endorsed more limited immigration reform, have resulted in a compromise.... this bill makes meaningful but insufficient progress on amnesty for those wrongly denied it.“
Q: Should we change our Constitution to allow men like Mel Martinez, born in Cuba and Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, to stand here some night as candidates for president?
McCAIN: He and I have many similar attributes, so I have to seriously consider it.

McCain: “ Those who live closest are the ones who can get here. Everyone in the world should have the opportunity through an orderly process to come to this country.”

McCain attacked Proposition 106, an Arizona statewide referendum that was being advanced by the so-called English-only movement. McCain told the teachers, “Why would we want to pass some kind of initiative that a significant portion of our population considers an assault on their heritage?”
McCain was one of 10 members of congress who were honored by the National Council of La Raza, a nationwide coalition of Hispanic organizations. In a speech at a ceremony in Washington, before an audience of 500, McCain again attacked English-only initiatives. “The building of our great nation is not the work of immigrants from one or two countries, McCain said, ”Our nation and the English language have done quite well with Chinese spoken in California, German in Pennsylvania, Italian in New York, Swedish in Minnesota, and Spanish throughout the Southwest. I fail to see the cause for alarm now.“

*McCain actually said this just a few weeks ago.
“President Reagan granted amnesty to two million people and that was wrong,”

*This may be the ONLY time John McCain told the truth.
John McCain 2008 Prez election: no amnesty for illegal aliens could lead to France-style riots

...The man wasn’t satisfied with McCain’s answer. He asked McCain why the U.S. couldn’t execute large-scale deportations, as he had heard they did in France and other countries. The question seemed to pique McCain.
“In case you hadn’t noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,” McCain said. “They’ve got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can’t even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don’t want that in the suburbs of America.
McCain, the “maverick,” has been in Congress for 28 years, or since winning his first election in 1982. He is no longer fighting the establishment; he is the establishment. He personifies the compromise wing of the Republican Party, which has since become the dominant wing.

He’s an EMBARRASSMENT!

“The thought of [John McCain] being president sends a cold chill down my spine”Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), also a senior member of the Appropriations panel, told the Boston Globe recently. “He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me.” Washington Post

You’ve made no typos. Governor Brewer attended the picnic as well. I’ve been hearing her speak now for over a year and she keeps getting better and better...I’m telling you that if she shores up her fiscal policies to a more Conservative level, she may be a force to contend with on the national scene!

McCain said, ”Our nation and the English language have done quite well with Chinese spoken in California, German in Pennsylvania, Italian in New York, Swedish in Minnesota, and Spanish throughout the Southwest. I fail to see the cause for alarm now.“

And Norwegian in North Dakota, but one difference exists.

Only one of these groups persists in not learning English, insists on their children being taught in another language, and has little intention to learn English. (Hint: it wasn't the Norwegians in North Dakota).

I love JD, I contributed to him a long time ago, when he first campaigned for the House. I can't contribute money any more because I am a Federal contractor and that's against the Hatch Act. :(

If he's reading: Stay conservative, brother, and whether or not you grab this brass ring, keep in the public eye. We need folks like you.

Thanks for posting this Hildy. We need McCain in the senate like we need Obama in the White House. I sincerely hope the good people of AZ are ready to kick McCain to the curb. And I’m jealous; when did you escape Kalifornia?

I moved to Bullhead City, AZ five years ago. I have become very involved in AZ politics. The Republican community here is fantastic and has been very supportive of me. I am seriously considering running for office in 2012.
