The important point is that when Joe is sworn in he will not have a seat in the chair, and no one will care if he has a seat at the last table in the Senate. I have strongly supported the 2nd Adm and study the Bible daily. Although I have worked with our Congressional Delegation for decades I have never considered them personal friends. Please tell me how your friend Joe will change things.

Putting words in my mouth does nothing for your point. I have not put words in your mouth, I have only asked for details.

I don’t think they count provisional ballots until they can verify them, so no, they wouldn’t be counted yet. Usually a provisional is because someone moved without changing their address, or someone claimed to be a republican but didn’t appear on the list, or claimed to be registered but not on the list.

I am aware of these issues and what court of law brought charges against her?

Did you bother to listen to Joe Miller during his campaign or even see him this morning on Face The Nation?

The man has the right ideas: for our Republic and FOR Alaksa! He embraces our Constitution, while she and her liberla senators sneer at it.

He wants to free Alaska from federal government ownership, and break Alaska’s dependency! Alaska is rich in natural resources and the state could support itself and provide jobs to all it people and then some through private enterprise. once it’s free from federal ownership of over 2/3 of its land.

My God, man, get out of your myopic world of academia and left-wing politics, where big government is good and knows best.

Murkowski is part of the problem, not part of the solution. She is a big government “Republican”, who all too often, votes with, and like, a democrat.

“If we can take over the GOP in primary elections (doubtful, IMO) the pillars of the temple are going to be shaken.”

Shaken temples also come from cracks in the pillars - and that is happening all across America. I don’t share your doubtful view that the GOP establishment can’t be shaken, or even replaced. What Reagan started we must finish.

“They all start out with the best intentions, but after they stay in office a while, they become corrupt. The lack of term limits must stop, like the Presidency. 2 terms is more than enough for a Senator. One would be much better though.”

TERM LIMITS!!

“Beginning to think there is NO difference between the two major parties, Both suck.”

Really? Aren’t you really lamenting the party establishments? And, by the way, I lament the entire RAT structure - top to bottom...

“Everyone call Cornyn tomorrow again and again and again. He needs to hear us loudly. This is insane. Freepers UP!!! If Miller loses so be it but it wont be because the NRSC saw too it, just damn.”

We need to call Cornyn tomorrow. I’ve been reading in articles that the purpose of the NRSC is to protect incumbent Republican Senators - this is how they’re trying to explain their support of Murkowski in this case. Wonder how much help they’re giving DeMint (up for re-election and he doesn’t need their help, but I’m just sayin’), and how much they’ll give Tea Party Senators like Joe Miller in future??

What the NRSC needs to realize is the percentage of their donors that will line a red X through their fundraising letters and scream at their telemarketers will continue to rise until they become MEANINGLESS.

Such is the outcry of the people of this nation.

Do NOT tick us off further NRSC, by thinking you can conduct ‘politics as usual.’

"They say Mr. DeMint is pushing candidates through the primaries who are too far to the right to take back vulnerable seats from Democrats in November."

They can't have it both ways. It is specious in the extreme for DeMint's Republican colleagues to make such a statement. Everybody knows that the leftists and the RINOs campaign on the RIGHT and govern/legislate on the left once they're safely ensconced in office. Every stinking one of them slithered into office on the back of Conservatism, and that kind of politicking will always be with us, but we must recognize it and fight it tooth and nail, for once they're in, we're stuck with them for their term. The two year terms of representatives are bad enough, but in the case of senators, after six years, people forget. Reminding the voters of this mendacity should be a top priority.

Sorry, I am not left wing. I happen to only be one of many Alaskans that attempts to work with Congress to craft legislation that is help full to Alaskans. We work with them no matter what party they represent. The loss of a potential important chair makes the work that many of us Alaskan working with Congress much more difficult or impossible. Attempting to move legislation through Congress with two very junior Senators of which I assume one will be in the minority will be nearly impossible. The Senate operates on a seniority first method. Only senior Senators are chairmen and the chairmen control the agenda.

“Looks like the absentee ballots have magically doubled.”

They’re up to 13,740 from 7,600. I’ve been hearing talk about how long it can take some ballots to come in from the AK hinterlands, and then there’s all the Service people’s ballots (should favor Joe Miller.)

In any case, hopefully Miller takes it. I’m concerned about the 9,069 ‘questionable’ ballots - that’s where a lot of monkey business happens. If the NRSC gets caught up in this contention - there will be H3LL to pay.

Miller leads Scott McAdams 47-39. McAdams is counteracting several of the trends causing Democrats trouble across the country this year. He’s running even with independents at 42% and he’s benefiting from a more unified party, getting 81% of the Democratic vote while just 73% of Republicans are committed to Miller. In most states that equation would be enough for the lead but in Alaska, where there’s an 18 point Republican party identification advantage, it leaves McAdams running behind.

I am sorry sir, but this race, and the race in my home state Washington (Rossi v. Murray) is not just about our states, nor certainly about ‘getting legislation through DC’ per se. The stakes are MUCH HIGHER than that.

You must be aware of that.

This is about the soul of our nation!

“Noplace knows better than those of us in Florida. First the NRSC tried to marginalize Rubio by endorsing Crist. Their excuse of focusing on incumbent Senators doesn’t wash even with industrial strength Mr. Clean. But to be fair, the patriots in New York’s 23rd also know a thing or two of this treatment at the whims of the NRCC and are being joined by districts all over the country.”

This is exactly why the Tea Party is wielding power right now in the primary season - and no scenario is more amazing than that of Joe Miller’s. And why the pubbie ‘stablishment types are cursing at us under their breath and probably now right out loud.

We surround you!

RATS you’re next!!

I can see November from my house...:)

Thanks for the notice, I watched the interview
on the CBS website.

He did a good job, I liked the way he through the “extreme” comment back in his face. With that positive video I’ll be out of phone/internet/tv/radio range for up to 9 days moose hunting. Hopefully when I get back he’ll be the official nominee, and Lisa will be a historical footnote.

“What did he communicate to the Murky team that took three days?”

They probly (sic) wanted him to check AK election law, process, and get on the ground readings to see how likely this is that Murky gets 55% of the absentees/questionables.
