“A few of the Times 1000 readers blame the economy with one even realizing overruling the votes of 7 million Californians on marriage and taking Arizona to court, hurt Obama; yet, even they still do not get it.”

The advisors in the WH have the worst tin ear of any administartion in decades, led by the chief Tin Ear of all.

I just hope they never get a clue.

DC is a town of give and take, compromise.

This time around the Democrats gave and gave and gave to Obozo's White House and got nothing in return.

In a word, they made a pact with the devil (some say literally) and got zip in return. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH and shame on them.

The “Democrats” got here by slowly being taken over by the far-left marxists over the past 50 years, until there was no room in the party for reasonable people anymore.

Then suddenly, with 0bama, the marxists got just about everything they wanted, have done it, and it is predictably FAILING despite their decades of planning and hard work.

Now they’re screwed for generations, I hope.

(A cynic might say that the marxists are intentionally imposing failed marxist principles on America to give the formerly communistic/socialistic countries like China and Russia time to establish overpowering capitalistic economies, but that’s a different discussion entirely.)

Gibb’s nailed it with his “Professional Left” comment. While researching, I ran into this group that falls solidly into that group. This is what we are up against, professional left groups like this one - they are well funded, influential, help set policy for the left and have had many years to dig in.

Scaring the elderly and exploiting the poor is only the tip of the iceberg..

“Have you not noticed that conservatives are suddenly fairing very well in elections around the country?”

Here in SC, the voters threw out the RINO congressman in the primary and elected a conservative. There is movement in our favor.

For the first time since FDR the Democrats can act like Democrats without any GOP interference at all.
Thus, the result..............

"How Did Democrats Get Here?"

Yes, they are in their predicament because of Obamacare, Pelosi and Reid, their duplicity and double-dealings in how they handle legislation, but -- none of this is new or unpredented. This strong-handed maniupulation and use of the powers in Washington have long happened under other Democrats with huge majorities includuing Lyndon Johnson and Carl Hayden in the 1960s and under Sam Rayburn in the 1940s. In prior years we had 90% tax rates and all sorts of examples of "deem and pass."

What makes the difference? Our media, especially AM talk radio and Fox News. They exposed the underhandedness of the process and the nasty details of the legislation, within minutes, and the Democrats could not run from it.

Such is EXACTLY what our Founding Fathers wanted -- accountability. The Dems are having it and they hate it.

Of course, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. If the Repubbies aren't clean after getting power they, too, will receive a drubbing in 2 or 4 years.

Americans are going to do whatever it takes to try to nullify the last 2 years of Obama’s reign. They recognize the huge mistake they made in November 2008 and will try to correct it as much as possible.

It's not just talk.

. . .and haven't they noticed that Americans in droves keep coming back to Washington DC to demand real change. They are all rehearsals for the REAL rally which is being held the first Tuesday this November. There is NO COMPLACENCY. We will be there. It will be historical.

Healthcare. The Obamacare bill impacts everyone. Young, old, rich, poor, small businessman and large, insurance companies and health care providers, and all are now aware of its negative impact. Who favor it? Uber-liberals who wear blinders and union members who follow orders. Then there are the twenty percent of ghetto residents and illegals who mistakenly think it will be free — and who usually do not or cannot vote. I repeat, it is healthcare thaat will drive people to vote in an anti-Democrat tide.

They get it and we’re foolish to think they don’t. Obama and this admin simply does not care what Americans think or want.

Obama displays textbook narcissism and has surrounded himself with others who believe their vision for the country only counts. They’re perfectly willing to jump off the cliff alongside Obama as long as they get as much of the progressive agenda passed before.

I hope you are right about them being screwed for generations... but I have a bad feeling power is going to swing back and forth between the two parties for quite some time.

If Republicans take power and actually start cutting spending .... the people that lose their government handout will vote against them in the next election... then Democrats will take over and spend the economy into the ground again and the cycle will repeat itself.

Nothing but a sustained recovery can get us out of this cycle, but I can't see anyway possible for that to happen with this level of debt and our current system of government where everyone is allowed to vote. No one who is taking government welfare should be allowed to vote.

No one who is taking government welfare should be allowed to vote.

That's a good law that'll never happen.

And you're probably right about the see-saw. The marxists will NOT give up. Guaranteed.

It’s a bit late (and hilarious) to watch the Dems complain about Obama throwing them under the bus after they spent months voting in lockstep for everything Obama, Reid and Pelosi wanted. Look at all the Dems who refuse to even be seen with Obama let alone have him stump for them on the campaign trail.

I hope the new class of politicians we’re sending to the House and Senate helps change the culture in DC and helps hold Republicans to their side of the aisle.

The House has been excellent and Boehner has done a great job keeping Pols on the reservation. The Senate, well that’s where we’ve always had our problems.

Americans are not just sending a message to Obama, we’re sending a loud message to the GOP - Stop Playing Dem Lite! Any Pol who is foolish enough to continue making deals with the Devil (grin) deserves what they get.
