Obama Sr. was an economist, and in 1965 he published an important article in the East Africa Journal called "Problems Facing Our Socialism." Obama Sr. wasn't a doctrinaire socialist; rather, he saw state appropriation of wealth as a necessary means to achieve the anticolonial objective of taking resources away from the foreign looters and restoring them to the people of Africa. For Obama Sr. this was an issue of national autonomy. "Is it the African who owns this country? If he does, then why should he not control the economic means of growth in this country?"
As he put it, "We need to eliminate power structures that have been built through excessive accumulation so that not only a few individuals shall control a vast magnitude of resources as is the case now." The senior Obama proposed that the state confiscate private land and raise taxes with no upper limit. In fact, he insisted that "theoretically there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed

A comment to the article indicates that w/o graduating summa cum laude from Columbia Obama could not have been accepted by Harvard law except for an affirmative action admittance.
Did you read this entire article? See my comment above at #179. The whole thing read like a dissertation on why an American POTUS should have two citizen parents. Obama’s dreams and actions demonstrate his loyalty to his foreign father’s ideology, which would be very different had Senior been an American.
Hopefully the disaster that Obama has brought upon America will awaken the electorate to actually study those running for president.

It took them this long to realize that Sr.’s ideology heavily influences Jr.’s actions as POTUS, which we’ve always known. Dare I hope that two years from now, before he runs for re-election, that they’ll also realize how important two citizen parents are for a POTUS?
Reading this article makes me realize where we (dualers) failed. We didn’t do a good enough job explaining the importance of two citizen parents and we didn’t connect the consequences of foreign influence with hard facts to Obama himself.

One of Obama’s first actions in office was to remove in Feb. of 2009 a bust of Sir Winston Churchill from the Oval Office and send it back to Britain—an action of a lout rather than a President.
Some have speculated that this done was because of Britain’s former colonial role in Kenya, where Obama’s relatives continue to exist.
In Obama’s petulant eyes and narrow mind, this is perhaps of greater significance to him than the close relationship between the U. S. and Britain since our founding—including the WWII years when Churchill led the people of England in overcoming, with the U. S. and other Allied Powers, Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, a war incidentally in which 60 million humans were killed.
Obama’s actions, in the instance of the Churchill bust, surely indicate substantiation of the D’Souza article.
Ironically, it is Obama who has the mind and intent of a colonialist—seeing America as His colony. His cold eyes tell us this, yes, even more than his words.
I’ve been saying these things for 20 months now. Finally someone has picked up on comment I made on FR months ago - it’s Dreams FROM My Father, not Dreams OF My Father. Obama is implementing an agenda....and he’s only just begun.
He must be getting paid by the word.

I think you have a very valuable idea here.
That is the course of action we SHOULD take, and this article is the primer.
It is EXACTLY why only a Natural Born Citizen should be eligible for potus. because otherwise you get the ideology of someone who thinks America is evil, someone who believes the Nation is an imperialist oppressor. Clearly this is Obama’s ideology, and its one he got from his upbringing.
Parentage and upbringing MATTERS.
It will be up to us to connect it.
Kind of hard to believe someone could get this far in politics and be so completely unpatriotic, but then I don’t remember much about the Carter presidency.
