Tea Party Express Responds to NRSC
09/14/2010 | Levi Russell-Tea Party Express

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 14, 2010

CONTACT: Levi Russell at (509) 979-6615 or via email at: Levi@FrontLineStrat.com

The Tea Party Express issued the following statement in response to preliminary reports that the National Republican Senatorial Committee would not support their own nominee for U.S. Senate in Delaware:

"The National Republican Senatorial Committee has reportedly said they will not support their own nominee for U.S. Senate in Delaware. This is a rash statement that hopefully they will reconsider once good judgment sets in.

"The NRSC tried to meddle in the vote recount for liberal Republican Lisa Murkowski in Alaska. Now they say they aren't committed to supporting their own nominee in Delaware? When will this insanity stop?

"We encourage the NRSC to take a night off, get some sleep, and reconsider their rash statements. It is because of inexcusable conduct in Delaware and Alaska that so many conservatives have turned to the Tea Party Express, offering their support and their donations. These people have lost faith in the NRSC as just another big-government, Washington, D.C.-based organization that has contributed to the problems this country currently faces.

"If the NRSC is committed to defeating Democrats in November, then it is time for them to honor their mission statement and do just that. If they fail to do so, then they can expect millions of conservatives to continue to steer their donations and volunteer hours elsewhere.

"Wake up NRSC, the reason the tea party movement has grown into such a powerful force is because of the failures of establishment organizations such as yours to honor the principles of the Republican Party platform. You tried to force through the most liberal Republican in Congress on the voters of Delaware and they rejected you. Wake up, you are defying your own base, and will end up an irrelevant and impotent organization that serves to only amuse the corrupt political establishment in Washington, D.C.

"The Tea Party Express will back Christine O'Donnell in the general election along with every other candidate we've endorsed. We trust adults at the NRSC will come to their senses and realize that the people have spoken, and it's time for the NRSC to represent the Republicans it is supposed to represent."

The Tea Party Express is a GOP Establishment front group, playing cards very carefully.

That's stupid!

Tell me this isn't the most fantastic, unbelieveable political season we've ever witnessed in our lifetime. If America continues to turn back to God, He will continue to do miracles.

The Tea Party Express will hopefully supplant the NRSC.

And you can bet that in this race, the NRSC will be surreptitiously supporting the Democrat.

Tell me this isn't the most fantastic, unbelievable political season we've ever witnessed in our lifetime. If America continues to turn back to God, He will continue to do miracles.

The Ancien Regime is using their old yardsticks to try to measure what is going on and they cannot understand it. This is a new game. The old rules don't apply. These are exceptional times.

Just this morning the tired pundits were dissing Christine as a loser and a failure. Not only did she win but by about ten points. And Ovide in NH. Their world is turned upside down.

Palin, Beck, DeMint and the TPE are bypassing the RNC. We are writing our own rules and we will not play their game anymore. Our eyes have been opened and we see what is going on.

You are right. At its core this is God's doing. God has released a mighty tidal wave. We are becoming that tidal wave and we will not be stopped. Catch this wave and ride it to victory or get off.

Write them a check for $500.00. Void the check with a large RED magic marker. Put it in an envelope, along with a tea bag, and mail it to them.

NO.

Someone had a BETTER IDEA. Write that $500 check. Make it out to the campaign of your Conservative candidate of choice. Before mailing it in to your candidate, photocopy that check and mail the photocopy to the NRSC.

It's time for the TEA Party and Conservatives to put their money where their mouths are. The way to really demonstrate to the NRSC and the other Republican Party apparatuses the strength of the TEA Party movement is to fund Conservative candidates directly, make sure they are funded to the level necessary to win their general elections and then let the chips fall where they may (iow reevaluate the situation if the TEA Party candidates are adequately funded but still lose).

It appears the battle lines are drawn.

On one side, are Democrats and Republicans.

On the other side, is the Tea Party — the American people.

Yes, It is clear as crystal now and people are rightfully pissed. It's been shocking to actually hear what some of these repubes believe and the contempt they actually have for the American people. But there are some staunch constitutionalists in Congress and they're begging us to send "back-up" and as far as I can see...we are going to do just that.

The tried, or did they actually meddle?

Maybe Hewitt should look at who he is talking about.. Russo worked to elect Reagan in both Presidential Elections, he also worked with Jack Kemp....... and they have backing from the Americans For Prosperity, which billionaire David Koch is behind. for information on David Koch google up the New Yorker article on him that came out on September 8th, low key, behind the scenes, old conservative, Kansas family.....

now, if Hewitt said investigate Tea Party Patriots -- the one funded by Freedom Works (Dick Armey and supposedly David Frum has some interest in...... I would say there "could" be some fire there).....

I think what people are not getting is we have a battle going on for the soul of the country, not just the GOP and it is going to be a rocky ride.

Oh, BTW Tucker Carlson's publication did an excellent article on the Tea Party Express..... check it out

There was not a vote recount in AK. TPE needs to rephrase that sentence in their press release.

The FR Live radio show threads have become pretty poor- they are more of a social event, particularly the Mark Levin threads, which I now avoid like the plague.
