Lisa Murkowski supporters are urging people to come out tonight for what’s being called a “campaign kick off,” although her campaign manager isn’t ready to say that she’s decided to run.
Bonnie Jack, who was a Murkowski campaign elections observer for the count of absentee votes, sent out an email this morning. “Join us at the Kick-off of Senator Lisa's campaign -- with a theme of "write in her name in and fill in the oval."
"Denai'na Convention Center, third floor and hopefully out on the sunny deck, 5 pm. Bring your family including children, friends and business associates. We plan to make history!”
Jack confirmed to me that she sent the email, and indicated that obviously the conclusion to be drawn from it is that Murkowski is running.

No, tehy have said in no uncertain terms that Lisa is persona non grata if she does this and Joe Miller is the GOP choice.

I think you make a lot of sense, because I know that Murkowski has a democrat base of support. I just wonder whether her voters can spell her name? LOL.
I'm in full agreement with you that her write-in campaign will serve to ignite conservatives to get out to vote for Joe Miller and grab their family members and friends too.
Also, I would imagine that her stunt might possible irk average Republicans who play by the rules and believe that a loser should lose gracefully and endorse the winner.
Well, I will now double my third donation to Joe Miller. I somehow just "knew" the evil witch wasn't going to go away without making a stink. I hope she thoroughly disgraces herself and that Joe Miller wins in a landslide.

Yeah, isn’t she screwing up a “shoo-in” in a race to 51? Where is the vitriol toward her than they piled on Christine.
I expect NR and WS to be publishing some investigative research into Murkowski pronto. Will Karl Rove talk about her rectitude? Will Krauthammer personally go to Alaska to ensure Joe Miller wins?

Anybody know the current Miller vs. Dem poll numbers? I’d like to watch to see if anything changes when she jumps in.
I still think Anchorage is just screaming for a new Pontiac dealership, and maybe this get together means Lisa has decided on a location...
She won’t even be on the ballot, which means she will only show up as “other” in the polls either.
I’m predicting the Libertarian Candidate gets more votes.

Her hatred of Palin has gone so far as to do anything to keep Palin’s pick from winning.
Well some Republican guy got about 50,000 write in votes to qualify to be on the ballot against Martha Coakley in MA. A little different but they can be successful.
No doubt she has stirred a bees nest of conservatives and not just here but all over the country.
I’m actually more confident in a Miller win now than I am without Murkowski running. Miller will have more $$$ and more media face time to counter all the bad press/smears from the Liberals and their Media myrmidons. I see Miller getting at least 54%, Murkowski & McAdams each getting about 20%.
