The American people are tired of attack politics and want candidates who will focus on important issues such as reducing taxes, putting families back to work and getting our economy moving again.

It is true that I have faced challenging times in this difficult economy, and I think that gives me a better perspective than some of the more privileged in our society.

But there are some myths out there, and it is important to dispel some of them.

Now let's see Karl Rove's finances. Let's see who is more honest and truthful.

I hate establishment Republicans almost as much as I hate establishment Democrats.

I hate them more. At least the Dems tell us what they stand for... The RINO establishment treats us like peasants, telling us what we want to hear on the campaign trail, and then saddles up with the ruling class when they get to DC.

. . . I’ve also faced difficult times but in the end, I preserved.

What does this mean? Preserved what?

Some needs to tell her people to correct the word “preserved” in the paragraph about her diploma...

I think the word would be “persevered”.

No judgements...probably just a typo.

I donated to her, not because I think she can win (she probably can’t), but it’s important to make the race close enough that the Dems have to pour some money into Delaware. As far as Christine herself, she impressed me with her debate perforance the other night and with her speech yesterday, as well. Unfortunately, for every good thing, something crazy comes out, too. This latest news that she said she “dabbled in witchcraft” when she was on Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect show in 99 is just bizarre.

It’s interesting that she didn’t mentioned the sexual harassment lawsuit. I’d like to see her win but would also like to hear the while story. IIRC, the other complant about her was that she lived off of campaign funds.

MYTH: Did not get college diploma

FACT: Americans are struggling and I understand those struggles, because I’ve also faced difficult times but in the end, I preserved.

This just caught my eye and it's not that big a deal but the word is "persevered" not "preserved" I didnt check the rest of what she wrote.

Someone will notice

This is all incredible nitpicking and she should move on to the issues against her opponent—and become DE’s next senator.

But the IRS phone transcript that she has added as evidence doesn’t in fact demonstrate that the lien was in error, just that that rep doesn’t have all the info on the case and so doesn’t know why the agent handling it didn’t stop the lien from being placed. As it is, the lien was only placed after the time when the agent’s letter said he wanted it settled and it was only lifted after she paid in full. I really think she’d be better off not fudging around here with this sort of purported ‘evidence’. Seems like she sold her house for $45K above the note on it, as I think I’ve read elsewhere, and may have erred on not paying up to the IRS immediately—because she didn’t realize that they were about to place the lien on it.

She should focus on having done the responsible thing by selling her home to get out of debt—and immediately move on by changing the conversation back to the issues. She’s a huge winner on the issues and she’s got a big megaphone right now. One line, if necessary, and then a pivot to her opponent. That should be her MO.

I hate them much, much more. You know that commie rat bastards are your enemeies, but those who profess somehow to be “conservative” or standing for the principles you believe in turn out to be Dem-lites, they are traitors.

Traitors are much worse than avowed enemies.

One of the things that pissed me off about Rove & others is that they are repeating these things that Christine has addressed over & over again.
They claim they were doing their job as commentators when they don’t even bother to check the facts beyond the accepting the outright lies of Castles allies & their ugly whispering campaign.

True, but those are the kind of mistakes that opponents use to create a narrative of being “stupid”. She’s raised enough money now to hire a good proofreader and avoid crap like this.

I candidate may well be able to legally “live off of” campaign funds. They often suspend their occupation and go into the campaign whole hog.

BTW did Rove help McCain at all or did he sit out 2008, allowing the Kenyan to walk in?

During my previous campaign against then Sen. Joe Biden, I was audited by the IRS. After a long appeals process; the issue was supposed to have been wrapped up this past spring. Yet, in March, rather than a letter finalizing the appeals process, I received an erroneous tax lien claiming I had not responded to their previous correspondence.

Running against Biden, and she just happens to get audited and run through the IRS meat grinder. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Interesting that some make this about Karl Rove. It’s pretty obvious that she alienated some Republicans and Conservatives with her sex harassment lawsuit. This appears to be more about that than anything else. And living off of campaign funds while not paying campaign debts can’t be good can it? I’d like to see her win but it looks like she may have a problem with the truth, and that’s not good for Conservatives.

Hi there. You are a concern troll. Get lost.
In an argument (usually a political debate), a concern troll is someone who is on one side of the discussion, but pretends to be a supporter of the other side with “concerns”. The idea behind this is that your opponents will take your arguments more seriously if they think you’re an ally. Concern trolls who use fake identities are sometimes known as sockpuppets.

In the 2006 election, an aide to Congressman Charlie Bass (R-NH) was caught concern trolling the opposition on local blogs. While pretending to support Bass’s opponent, Paul Hodes, the aide argued that Hodes couldn’t win because Bass was an unbeatable candidate. Hodes won the election.
