One of the ironic things about RU486 is its name; RU486 expands to aRe yoU for(4) killing (86 in the old telegraph / news filing days meant "kill the story.")

It was developed as an Anti-cancer drug, but piked up by the Nazis due to it’s ability to kill babies enutero. Surprise surprise, it is dangerous.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years. Stunning really; if I remember correctly there were some pharmacies compelled to sell this drug even if they had moral objections. The evil is breathtaking.

The Germans dropped it because “what ever you do, don’t mention the war”, but its French subsidiary picked it up.

At the earliest beginnings of the “womens” movements was the belief that women were harmed by males because males were randy libertines with no scruples - abandon the females they impregnate, when its convenient; rape; adultery; and financial abandonment of their duties to wife and child. The earliest beginnings of the women’s movement contained condemnation for the behavior of immoral men.

It was understood that although the man had the ability to have a sexually promiscuous lifestyle with greater ease than the woman, because its largest and most direct consequences were not his to keep, if he chose not to; it was a lifestyle to be condemned.

All these things - the lying, cheating promiscuous behavior of men having sex without regard for the consequences was condemned.

Now, we have morally come full circle. Now feminism simply seeks to insure that such behavior is readily available to the female also, and to “protect her” from any consequences her own behavior that might otherwise have incurred. Now a women can as easily live - with unchecked sexual responsibility - as the men that the women’s movements started out condemning.

What started out condemning sexual liberty (liberty from relationship or consequences), morphed to a movement to obtain it for all.

This could send the liberals into a real tailspin.

It provides abortion and hurts women at the same time.

What’s a liberal to do?

I have no problem with Julie excerpting. The service that Life News provides is priceless and I will do whatever I can to help them get the word out.

According to FDA reports as of December 2006, there have now been eight known deaths associated with mifepristone in the U.S., nine life-threatening incidents, 116 blood transfusions, and 232 hospitalizations. In total, more than 1,100 women have had medical problems after using the drug as of that date.

I understand. I just thought that the above is incredibly important. There is more at the source.

An incredibly biased article.

Yeah it is.

Free Republic is a PRO-LIFE forum and that means that it's not unusual to see threads about ABORTION DRUGS KILLING WOMEN having a pro-life bias.

There are plenty of other websites out there where you can read stuff that is biased toward abortion.

An incredibly biased article.

Yeah, some people just have a problem with murder and dangerous drugs.

Do you deny that it kills babies and hurts women?

What are your sources to prove otherwise?

Oh......

And IBTZ.....
