Suggest you place your script slightly above and behind the camera so you don't lose eye contact. Background will help with US and/or Texas fla/s.

Message is OK, but just a bit repetitive.

The video is not editable. It was done by the League of Women Voters of Tarrant County.

The content had to stay within 2 minutes. Unfortunately, I did not realize that I could have had cue cards for more than just timekeeping---and I didn't have a teleprompter handy (grin)---so I had to use my notes.

Considering I had had a horrible headache all day, I think it turned out far better than expected.

FANTAIL 1952 WROTE: "Suggest you place your script slightly above and behind the camera so you don't lose eye contact. Background will help with US and/or Texas fla/s."

=============================================

Thank you for your input.

Unfortunately, I had no control over the background. And had I known that I could have had cue cards, I would have had them, which would have helped.

See my earlier response:

=============================================

FANTAIL 1952 ADDED: "Message is OK, but just a bit repetitive."

=============================================

Since I have never run for office before, and since we only had 2 minutes available, I wanted to make sure people heard my website's URLs twice and to remind them that early voting was coming up.

I can either use it or have it pulled. I cannot redo it. After having seen my opponent's video and other candidates' videos, I think it turned out okay and I plan to use it.

BTW, GO TCU HORNED FROGS!!!

AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONALIST WROTE: "...well, Reagan used a teleprompter, but, he didn't need one to live his life..."

I saw G. W. Bush around 10/2009 giving a speech at American Airlines Center. He freely walked around and stopped at various points on the round stage so that each quadrant of people could see him directly. He probably talked for 20-30 minutes, and he gave his talk TOTALLY WITHOUT NOTES, much less without a teleprompter!

I do not recall ever seeing Obama talk that long without a teleprompter, and he certainly has never sounded as coherent without one.

Have you checked out my FReeper candidate website and my 2-minute League of Women Voters video yet?

For my website, go to: TCUalum.com

For the Video, go to: The Video

And could you spare $10 (or more) to offset the cost of signs that I just had to purchase today? More would be GREATLY, GREATLY appreciated! (Unfortunately, signs are not cheap.)

To donate, go to: Donate to a FReeper Candidate.

THANKS TO ALL FReepers who help!!!

Please ask your friends to help as well. Trying to win against a 28-year-incumbent-Democrat---in the most liberal part of the most conservative county in Texas---is not easy.

Please bump to the top.

Thanks again!
