What is a liberal Republican than a Democrat agent ? They’re worse than open Democrats. How do you think MA ended up with a nearly dead state GOP and 90% Dem legislature ? It wasn’t because of Democrats, it was because of liberal RINOs.

The fate of ObamaCARE will have nothing whatsoever to do with who wins the MA GOV race.

OTOH, defeating Obama’s buddy Deval Patrick will be a nice blow to Obama’s prestige and add to the national rejection of Obama and his minions.

“When I see a Republican voting for ObamaCare, I know that this is a man with no principles — a man who cares only for himself and the glorious life he can lead feeding at the public trough.”

NOT A SINGLE REPUBLICAN VOTED FOR OBAMACARE!!!

Not Scott Brown.

“A complete failure”: now that sounds like just what MA is looking for!

Just leave all those MA ballots blank! Why compromise one’s principles over nothing?

Both arms and both legs off. Torso sitting in the dirt, still speaking: "Right, we'll call it a draw."

Black Knight: “Right, I’ll do you for that,”

Arthur: “What are you going to do? Bleed on me?”

I love that movie.

Next best lines aside from the moose once bit my sister of course...,
The Dead Collector: Bring out yer dead.
[a man puts a body on the cart]
Large Man with Dead Body: Here’s one.
The Dead Collector: That’ll be ninepence.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m not dead.
The Dead Collector: What?
Large Man with Dead Body: Nothing. There’s your ninepence.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m not dead.
The Dead Collector: ‘Ere, he says he’s not dead.
Large Man with Dead Body: Yes he is.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m not.
The Dead Collector: He isn’t.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, he will be soon, he’s very ill.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I’m getting better.
Large Man with Dead Body: No you’re not, you’ll be stone dead in a moment.
The Dead Collector: Well, I can’t take him like that. It’s against regulations.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I don’t want to go on the cart.
Large Man with Dead Body: Oh, don’t be such a baby.
The Dead Collector: I can’t take him.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I feel fine.
Large Man with Dead Body: Oh, do me a favor.
The Dead Collector: I can’t.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won’t be long.
The Dead Collector: I promised I’d be at the Robinsons’. They’ve lost nine today.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, when’s your next round?
The Dead Collector: Thursday.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I think I’ll go for a walk.
Large Man with Dead Body: You’re not fooling anyone, you know. Isn’t there anything you could do?
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn’t: I feel happy. I feel happy.
[the Dead Collector glances up and down the street furtively, then silences the Body with his a whack of his club]
Large Man with Dead Body: Ah, thank you very much.
The Dead Collector: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
Large Man with Dead Body: Right.

MA is not as Democrat as it is because the GOP in the state is as liberal as it is. Have you ever lived or spent significant time there?

fm-dj is right on this. No support for Baker from my folks. Elect conservatives to the state House.

Meanwhile, the Cahill express will roll on, gaining strength by the day!

Cahill has absolutely no chance of winning and Baker is surely better than Deval.

no Baker. Deval is well-suited for Massachusetts. They deserve him.

I’ve discussed for years on here the dynamic of MA’s politics and its history. MA was once one of the most premier GOP states in the country, and the fact the Democrats now dominate it to almost the point of states from the pre-1960s Solid South is not accidental. Replacing an incompetent Socialist buffoon like Patrick with another failed Socialist RINO and Slick Willard disciple is no recipe for rescuing the state from its woes.

What can a liberal RINO do with a 90% Democrat General Court ? RaccoonRadio refuses steadfastly to answer the question, because the answer is “nothing.” Baker can only serve as a convenient whipping-boy for the failures of the ultra-Dem General Court all the while he continues to preside over the deterioration to a near-100% control by the Dems of that body. At least Patrick being kept in place has the Dems own the disaster they made. I’ve said many times in order to save the Commonwealth, we (Conservatives) must get control of the party apparatus, dumping liberal trash like Jennifer Nassour as Chair, run unapologetic Conservatives for office and build up a solid minority bloc, and once we’ve gotten enough members to sustain a veto in the General Court, THEN we run a candidate for Governor. Even if Baker were Ronald Reagan, he couldn’t change or accomplish anything because of the current dynamics. You guys that think replacing Patrick with Baker are cheering on a Pyrrhic victory.

Have been busy with a lot of stuff but I'll look those links over, etc., and perhaps consider the guy you may feel is more qualified than Baker:

(I still would rather have Baker in there with hopefully a few more Republican voices to try and moderate things a bit. Put DP back in and they will ram the tax increases and other nonsense like never before.)

Dittos. As for electing (100%) conservatives, c’mon, this is Massachusetts. LaRouchies have a better shot.

I’ve laid out my arguments, RR. Yours is populated with “maybe’s”, “hopefully’s” and “perhaps’s.” How many times must we be subjected to liberal RINOs before you guys wake up and smell the stench ? As for your other argument, “C’mon, this is Massachusetts, so Conservatives can’t win”, then you’ve just proven my other point... if you’re not even going to try to nominate them, there’s no point for the GOP to exist. Deval has his 90% Dem legislature thanks to the likes of DIABLO Weld, Cellucci, Swift and Slick Willard spending 16 years eroding away a viable GOP opposition, he can ALREADY (so long as the GC twits say “aye”) do what he wants.

Nah I don’t buy that. I think he wanted to win. I’d guess he’s ruined his chances of ever winning office as a rat again.
