What would have happened is that Obummer, the Marxist now posing as a Fascist, would have appointed a czar to form a committee to try to find out how it happened and the best way to prevent it from ever happening again, with a directive to the czar to report back to him in six months with their conclusions.
Oh, I forgot.
And he would have the gestapo bar all civilians from the area, thus barring the fellows who came up with the idea that got these men out two months ahead of the original estimates.
