John Daniello, chairman of Delaware's Democratic Party, insists he's not worried. Daniello said he has had conversations with Delaware's labor leadership about their work for candidates

The Politburo isn't worried, they have figured out. /sarc

If you are a union guy or gal and you are counting on Obama & Biden and.....your Democrat vermin, along with your failed union leadership, you are going to come up empty handed!!! Dudes and Ladies of labor unions, you let yourselves be had by these flim/flam idiots!!! Vote to destroy the entire Democrat Party on Election day, November 2, 2010. I worked with UAW folks for 40 yrs.

The union does a great job of indoctrinating the members.

One of the tenets that is not widely understood outside the union is that members are taught that they work for the union, not for the company. They see little connection between their jobs and the success of the company but a large connection between their paycheck and the health of the union.

I know it sounds bizarre, but that’s how it’s done.
The Reuther brothers got their inspiration working in Communist Russia in the 1930s.
That’s why GM, Ford, and Chryco are eventually going to be gone in the US.

It is so sad. I have been drive GM cars since 1970. I just bought my first KIA built in Georgia. I will not look back.

How is the union leadership going to explain this?

You don't know yet? Bush's fault.

Thanks for the ping, Al. This confirms what I have been saying about turnout favoring O’Donnell....the intensity/enthusiasm gap. The Dems are having to try and force the Union members to vote, which is a double edged sword since they would more likely identify with a populist candidate like COD (just as the Union GOTV efforts in 1980 backfired on them because the rank and file went and pulled the lever for the Gipper).

This (along with the repeated visits by Obama and Biden to DE) is another sign of desperation on the part of the Dems. Coons is sinking, O’Donnell is rising and they don’t know what to do about it. It is a thing of beauty.

I believe ya, BC.

BTW, it's looking good here in W. Houston. I early-voted today. Our multi-precinct area served by this early voting spot had 26 voting machines and 60-70 people in line when we got there this afternoon and 80-90 by the time we left. It's a diverse area but there was no diversity today...definitely a Republican crowd. Much different than when we voted there in '08. Bill White is toast based on what I saw. If he can't carry Harris County he has no chance statewide.

“BTW, it’s looking good here in W. Houston”

That is good to hear. I think this is a national phenomenon. It means it is a national as we as an ideological election. Bodes well for conservatives like COD in my opinion.
